I am seeing Robyn on 04/14 here in Kansas City. I bought the ticket in 2019, and well, you know what happened next. Have been a fan since those awesome Robyn & the Egyptians albums in the 80's. I truly loved his most recent, self-titled album. This is my favorite song on the record. Hoping to hear him play the song live here. I also think "Time Coast" is another great song from that record. Can't wait to see Robyn live again...

songs of fire; songs of love. melancholy as rapture. a footsore march staggered by park bench soliloquies asides. as horizontal mountains lingering under gentle tree leaf showers of orange, red, yellow, snow flake blaze of rustling clouds in chorus with fire tipped excitement chatter. kisses muffled. kisses giggling. life in giddy pirouettes upon drunken ankles sweeping sidewalks of sighing leaves. shapes familiar; however strange. beauty. loneliness. need. the unleash of the child within. forever hope. in face of winters droning resolve. the tick, tick, of abstracted time, slowed to mellow meows, slowing with light to puddle and mellow with lazy stretch of knowing and known with beaming definable of the undefinable murder of summer's resolve. Robyn is often seen as a master of anxiety and the poet of the weird view; but i think he is one of the last great geniuses of beauty. there is an honesty in his poetic eye seldom seen. he has that rare 'widow's gaze' of the world that slides by as harmless when in fact it is sublimely interactive and catalytic in nature. he is one of the great lucid dreamers. goodniteisaygoodniteisay... goodnite!
