When we wrote this Robyn asked if it was ok to write about my rocky relationship at the time. She witnessed the up’s and down’s since my girlfriend used to tag along sometimes on the Robyn tour in Sweden at that time, then it was released in 2006 in Sweden (as ”Kleerup with Robyn”) and then they wanted to include it on Robyns international release ( as ”Robyn with Kleerup) , and it went all the way to Number 1 in the U.K (and other countries as well) , It really touches me that so many people have so nice things to say , and also that it Still continues to do it’s job and Make people Feel ♥️♥️♥️ THanks / Kleerup

Robyn always comes up with some dope tunes for each generation as she did for mines with her smooth Pop/R&B tunes back in 97' with such tracks as Show me love and Do you know and shes continuing on.

Incredible. Absolutely love this song. When you hear a beautiful song it's like love from the first sight. And unlike real relationships, music never betrays you. Diamonds never die.

This song introduced me to Robyn back in 2007 when I worked retail, it struck me every time it came on our music system. Been a fan of her sound ever since…. So I don’t look back. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thank you Quarantine for letting me discover this gem. Never heard it before but what an awesome discovery. I love how her wardrobe changes to red when she's moving forward with every heartbeat. Red is a color of power, and of course love. Off to my search for more Robyn!!

This song got me through a very rough part of my life back in 2007. I thought I would never recover when every single day seemed like a massive struggle, a mountain to climb, when all I wanted to do was to curl up and die. Away from everyone and everything, just roll up under a duvet and disappear. "And it hurts with every heartbeat" meant I was not alone. And it did hurt with every heartbeat for a long time. But it stopped hurting a little bit every day.

I heard this in the background of a very busy, high energy store - instant ear worm but couldn’t really hear it properly. I thought it was a Kate Bush remix and have been googling Kate Bush songs with ‘heart’ in the title to no avail. Was sitting on the sofa tonight and it just came back into my brain with absolute clarity so was able to google Every heart beat and viola - my soul is at peace. An amazing track

I was obsessed with this song when it hit the Uk in 2007 when my stepmother got jealous of my dad's contact with me and cut out me out of my dad's life. This song really helped me realise that I had to move on from the pain that was caused. Now I'm a mother to a teen and a nearly teen, it makes me wish I had the relationship with my dad still. Haven't played this song since 2008-9, but today it kept running through my head non stop
