Short Pyrenean Mastiff description:
The Pyrenean Mastiff is a really big dog breed. There are no maximum height for the breed, but the minimal height should be 72 cm for females and 77 cm for males, which is 28 and 30 inch. The ideal height is around 80 cm, which is 31,5 inch. The weight is typically between 60-90 kg, which is 130 - 200 pounds. Females are naturally slightly smaller than males.

The Pyrenean Mastiff has a heavy coat, which is very practical for working long hours in mountainous weather. This breed has a very thick coat and it can adapt to almost any kind of climate. You can find this breed in several colors. The base color should always be white, and they can have patches of black, gray, dusk, red, sand or tan.

Absolutely wonderful breed! We currently have two of them and one old one that crossed the bridge a few years ago. We also have Great Pyrenees with them. They are mainly pets here and so sweet.

I have a PM puppy and she is a great guard dog but amazing with the kids. She is very smart but does require some brushing to keep from matting on her hind end. Would recommend this breed for sure.
