I still remember the first time i had Rocco's. It was Feb of 1987, 2 days before my birthday. My dad lived right across the street from that joint. He got me a sausage, egg, and cheese on toast. And remembering that sandwich bringing back the taste of it. That was slammin'!!

This was my go-to place back in the 80s. You better know how to order. If not, mom would give you that look!! I'm in NY now and want to ride down just for the cheese steak. They also did a scrapple, egg over easy, onion sandwich for me. That was awesome.

Man, I love that place. I used to cut the grass at the apartments around the corner back in thr 90's. Huge sandwiches and cheesestakes. Glad to see its still there.

When I lived in South Jersey, this was one of the "if you know, you know" type of places. Lots of my friends didn't want to come with me to try them, so I often was the one going into Camden for things like their or Crown Fried down the street to bring back for everyone. I live just outside Baltimore now and the hood spots just don't hit the same.

Know you southern guys like ta call it pork roll, but if it's NY style breakfast, I can practically assume that that Taylor Ham (and I know the ongoing bs on social media). Back in the day, my go to breakfast sangwich was THEC_BSPK (or Taylor Ham, Egg, Cheese, butter, salt, pepper, ketchup) and it got me through many a rough work day.
