@@ritmodelrailroadclub I always enjoy the RIT show. I love Christmas time and it’s nice having Christmas songs in the background. I already have next year’s show written down on my new calendar! I’ll have to see what Sweater Amtrak offers next year!

Awesome footage, that AF looking HO track is pretty odd. Very interesting!

@@ericcoffedgp40 Thank you. I’ve been looking for the AF HO track, but I’m pretty sure it’s tubular rail, but maybe I’m wrong. Odd there were no curve pieces in the box.

It’s a ton of work packing up a layout or packing all the stuff vendors have to offer. The weather was pretty bad too by the time the show ended. That didn’t make packing up vehicles very pleasant.

Wanted to be there as a vendor but too much going on here at home. Thanks for your coverage. Really missed being there. Thanks for breezing by the N scale. If you had taken the time to show it, I might really have been depressed. 😊 There is something about this show that makes it special. I love how they play Christmas music. Always nice layouts there too. The students do a good job putting it on and I like to visit their on campus layout following the show. Hope to be there next year. Nicks honor train featured R&S 106. I was almost killed in a derailment in the 106 back in 2004. We hit ice on a crossing, and it picked up the locomotive and we rolled over on our right side. I ended up with seven herniated discs, and needed surgery to repair two of them in my neck.

@@Nearly-famous-painter1960 Wow, that is scary! Sounds so painful. Are you doing ok now?
@Nearly-famous-painter196012 күн бұрын
@ Thanks! I’m doing ok with the meds I get from the VA. I was very lucky. The floor panel over the battery box in the locomotive came loose and fell like a guillotine between the engineer and me. It nicked my forehead, so I had to get stitches there too. It was a long night!
