Looks great, I've always painted my mountains by hand with full strength paints mixing different colors to get different shades - I am definitely trying your way next time as it looks much better and easier/faster. Thanks for sharing and the tips. - Steve

Wow, what a wonderful job you did with the mountain and the colors you chose are beautiful! I enjoy your updates! By the way here are more white containers I promised! ONE,STLLigistics,CREnglish,CSX,COSCO,YANG MINING,PRIME INC I got these this week July 11 & 12. It was fun watching these UP Intermodal trains!

NIce video, great outcome for the layout - looks excellent! My only thought on an improvement - the rear track (east bound) could do with tunnel liners for about 6inches of length on both sides - the relatively sharp curves means that you can see rear track (east bound) engines and cars through the near track (west bound) portals - Good Luck!

Daryl - absolutely love the update. Many decades ago, I had done rock molds but never painted them; wish I had had your video then to help guide me. Also, I think we have the same NS SD70 2567, albeit mine might be slightly more weathered. lol If we were closer, I’d show you and offer to start on your fleet. 😉 Keep up the great work!! Looking forward to the next bit of progress and the video.

I used to enjoy your old Nscale layout and was devastated when you decided not to keep it I then watched this empire begin emerging from an empty basement to the painting the ceiling white to building the bench work then laying track and now finally seeing the scenery come together all around the layout Tarrgart Mountain area looks awesome can't wait to see Echo Canyon I've seen it represented on a couple of other layouts and will be anxious to see how you present it keep the great work coming and inspiring us with your artistic knowhow

Those rocks look really good. I'm not an expert on Utah scenery, but your colors and textures remind me of seeing the canyons. I have always been impressed by that area where the tracks go over bridges, through tunnels, and over bridges, all in a short space. Your layout is really looking nice!
