Was just about to write this for anyone who cares lol. Fun fact for those who care: Both Ghost Ship Games (the publisher) and FunDay Games are based in denmark! Ghost Ship Games are currently supporting DRG, albeit a bit slower than normal, while focusing on a new game called DRG: Rogue Core which will be a roguelike fps in the core of Hoxxes. Hope they keep pumping out great stuff!

It's so specific and really not worth figuring out the difference. In the end, they are all "like" Rogue.

I could be wrong but from my understanding, in a roguelike you start every run from the very beginning every time. The only difference between runs is you increasing your skill and knowledge of the game. A weird example of this is something like Black Ops zombies where you start every run completely fresh. A roguelite generally has some kind of in game system that makes you stronger between runs. In Deep Rock Survivor your runs unlock new weapons and upgrades that will make you stronger on subsequent runs, so it would be a roguelite.

Roguelite usually entails meta-progress, which are tangible upgrades that make future runs easier. These can be as simple as more stats (the most boring variety) or unlocks like weapons, items and unique mechanics (the good kind). Roguelike is basically as simple as 'Perma-Death', where every run is isolated and will not have any tangible effects on future runs, you lose any items, skills or anything else of the sort, starting from zero each run.
