Rock Art and Rough Roads | South to Spring Episode 3

On our first big overlanding adventure of 2024 we decided to go South to Spring. Winter in Idaho had been lackluster, barely any snow or freezing temps to make winter activities viable. Spring was still a long way off so we decided to instead go South, to Spring. In episode 1 we explored Death Valley, and in episode 2 we meandered the Mojave National Preserve.
In this episode we are back out in the Mojave Desert around Barstow California looking for rock art and being amazed by the geology of the area.

Another enjoyable video! Fine work. Purchasing new tires while on a trip must have blown in like an atmospheric river. Our Ranger has new rollers too. :-)

Yes, those old tires were much too thin for those desert roads. I found myself worrying about them over every rough stretch, so it was definitely time to switch them out!
