Playing Rock Band Blitz PS3 Version. Actually the highest score as of 16.09.2012, though still doing a lot of mistakes, especially in the last solo. There's plenty of space for a higher score. If u are up for gold stars jackpot as much sustains as possible on the guitar track. Enjoy!

You control the notes of the vocals, drums, keyboard, bass, and rhythm. Which ever is more prominent at the moment, the more points you get, and you're supposed to maintain equal balance of all. The middle represents the most important part at the moment. It's a lot of fun

No, what you described is a game called Amplitude, an earlier game made by the same company, and a new one that came out some months ago. This is Rock Band Blitz, you play the instrument for however long as you want, you can switch tracks whenever, your goal is to get the highest multiplier on each of the tracks, as seen on the left.

I think the "goal" in Rock Band Blitz is to level up the multiplier as seen on the left as much as possible and get a high score. If you're that type of player who wants to get the highest score and beat your friends, then you should try this game. if not, don't buy this game, I wouldn't recommend it. You're encourage to fill up you're multiplier and reach checkpoints to get it even more higher. I guess this game is kinda fun.

well....... as you hit notes on a given track, it's multiplier begins to increase across that gauge on the left, when you hit a checkpoint, the gauge itself shifts such that the lowest multiplier across all your tracks become the lowest on the gauge, thus giving you more room to build your multiplier further and further
