I'm currently running carbon and filter socks on my nano with a rock flower garden, do you think that'll effect the spawning process? And are you broadcast feeding or spot feeding?
@ReefDudes

If you see them spawn I would just turn off the return pump for an hour or so. As for carbon I don’t think so as I have some on both tanks. I broadcast feed the tank but will spot feed the babies to ensure they get food

WOW! Test tube babies! Crazy! How did that go? I recently discovered how beauiful these are and want to start out with one but several problems..maybe.. Is a 10 gallon nano to small due to the fact they cruise around, also My tank has been cycled for 4 months now. I heard I had to have a mature tank, is that true. I found a person that I want to make an order from anway and he has some good price beautys. I do hope to have some babies too and hope they self propagate! I dont get how they just release sperm in the water and you saw it, just so crazy. I had no idea. Was it masturbating or something...lol

Can I ask your opiononlighting? I have a current orbit and not getting much growth so For my new tanks I want good lighening that will give me more growth and color pop. I cant afford 5th generation radions so thinking either 4th or 3rd generation or kessil or ai. Might go with used as well. One thing I like about my current is hardly no disco ball effect. It has 120 degree lens. I like a shimmer and dont mind a little disco effect but to much drives me nuts, What is a good light for my needs
