My gun had the same issue, pulled the trigger and nothing happened. 1st time I shot it, it was fine, maybe 100rds. The next time i shot it, after 20rds, nothing happened. I took it apart and found that the plunger under the secondary trigger mechinism was getting stuck in the hole. I shot a bunch of wd40 in the hole and a bunch of fine pieces of metal was coming out of the hole causing the plunger to get stuck. It works fine now and im glad I dont have to ship it to Parump! I just recently bought the TM22 Feather(Lite) version because I like the styling on that gun. Unfortunately, everything on this gun is plastic/ploymer... receiver, carry handle, front sight, barrel nut, buffer tube(which is part of the receiver) and the barrel nut! Oh, I forgot, magazines are polymer too, but they work as good as the pot metal ones. Like you said, its a fun gun regardless of these issues. Take care!

Exactly. As long as it functions the way it's supposed to, who cares if it's plastic or not...

Just got one from Palmeto State $260 including FFL. and a free 25 rd Mag. 20" threaded barrel. Put 100 rds of everything including Winchester bulk 36 gr hollow point which won't fire on anything else but my Rough Rider Revolver. My trigger seems Ok. Thanks for the video Sir

Sorry about your luck. Mine has functioned flawlessly and the trigger is amazingly good for a $200 semi auto .22LR. My wife annexed it the first time she shot it. Lol.

I like the gun and plan to keep it, I did the video just so everyone knows that it could happen to you too. I have had guys tell me the same thing you did and I have had guys tell me they had the same problem I did. Clearly a quality control issue. This surprises me because Turkish guns are usually rock solid.

You are right! I hosted Weekend Outdoors on television for 20 years and was sponsored by all the big companies. I retired it in 2006 and started posting my videos on KZbin. I am very aware of how the game is played that is why I am will stay unaffiliated. If I show my viewers something it's because I found it to be very useful to us all. I will say this, I like the gun a lot but the trigger is the only down side. If my trigger was 2lbs it would be an exceptional gun. Thanks for watching.

Sounds like they have a quality control problem. I have had people tell me they have had the same problem as I did with it not firing and triggers with a mile of creep in it like mine. I wish mine had a trigger like yours.

@@kreigadkins Yours is possibly an early Gen 1, I've seen there were some issues with them.
@kreigadkins Жыл бұрын
Maybe so, I know I wasn't the only one with this problem. I still like the gun and In going to keep it. Maybe some day I'll take it apart and see if there is something I can do to fix the trigger.

Mine is very accurate too, but the trigger sucks. I must be a common issue because I have had others tell me they had the same issues with their guns not firing and a trigger with a ton of creep in it. Thanks for watching!

I have about 2000 rounds through mine, and I haven’t had any issues. When I first got it, I only ran CCI Velocitor, Aguila Interceptor, and Winchester Hyper Velocity. Just last weekend I ran Thunderbolt, and Aguila Super. No problems!

I love the fill of the gun, if it wasn't for all the creep in my trigger it would be a tack driver. after getting my gun back from being repaired the trigger has a lot of creep in it and causes me to throw some of my shots wide.

I got a Gen 2 and they made some refinements to it. Adjustable butt, longer and heavier hand guard, standard pitch threading for the muzzle. I found that it helps to try a few brands of ammo through it depending on your useage. I've found the Aguila brand works the best in mine, the Auto-Match would have fail to feed occasionallyFYI.
@kreigadkins Жыл бұрын
I found that CCI Standard and my gun is a match made in heaven. I have shot over 1000 rounds thru mine and have had a single jam or issue with the magazine. To me that's incredible, I have 2 Ruger 10/22s and they will jam if I use any ammo under 1200 fps. I love the gun, maybe some day I'll take it apart and see if I can do something with the trigger. Thanks for watching!

@kreigadkins Жыл бұрын
Dang it, I forgot that one! you're right I struggle to get 9 in it, I have about a 1/4 inch of creep in my trigger do you? That's why my shots go wide from time to time because I don't get enough creep pulled out before I shoot.
@kenstone5479 Жыл бұрын
@@kreigadkins Yeah good point it is a struggle to get the tenth round into the ones I have but my issue is I can’t find any places to buy additional 10 round magazines. My trigger has very little creep, I wonder if the repair they did caused it in your rifle.
