I'm genuinely curious to think what Mozart would think of this. A pop song about him, being preformed by classical musicians... I mean, he was pretty much a pop musician of his time...

Makes me want to read "Mozart in Mirrorshades" again. It paints him exactly as a pop musician more concerned with his own goals than the consequences for others, all while _not_ showing him to be a bad guy, just selfish and self-centered. All while being just a secondary character in a story of about seven pages.

Especially since 'in the style of' and mimicry of other composers was very much a thing of the day. I think he would have taken it in stride and probably had a good laugh and had his own go at it.

I'd be inclined to think he'd hate it, because it breaks many of the strict musical conventions of the time and like many classical musicians he was probably a stickler for upholding those conventions.

If Mozart heard this, I think he'd really enjoy it, even if he'd find the beats a little alien. I especially think he'd be overjoyed to know that, over two hundred years after his birth, people would still be playing variations on his themes and adapting them to modern tastes.

You're very welcome. Have you ever thought about a movie, since you did become the first female violin quartet? The struggles you four went through? The people that encouraged you? The people who believed in you? Those that didn't believe in you? Since this would be an International movie, you could get some sponsorship from mult billion dollar companies to have subliminal advertisement. For instance, having a laptop which has Apple, HP, or another logo name, in the movie. Then there is snacks, or social media that can be used duing the entire movie. You could also have multiple sponsorship in the movie, this would help pay for cost of the film. Just a thought. With four beautiful women, with the right storyline, with professional actors, and seasoned directors, it could be a smash hit. Also, the music and the quartet would last longer through the history of time.

This song is from '85, went viral lately for no apparent reason (as far as I'm concerned) and now an Electric Quartet is doing a tribute. This is an amazing song!
