Band-Maid's Hate? live at Lollapalooza Chicago was great, but even more than Lollapalooza, the camera work and sound at Yokohama Arena were amazing. And since the venue was huge, it was a great show where you could fully enjoy Kanami and MISA's bold and dynamic performances.

Misa and Kanami had so much fun on the catwalk. They gave everyone who watched the Hulu performance at Lollapalooza what they missed. The Maids are the BEST!!!!! Thanks Wave for your reaction. I love watching River's adorable reaction to their music. Awesome!!!!!

Those runs you are talking about are very reminiscent of Blackmore on Highway Star & Burn. My guitar hero growing up was Blackmore and I do find a lot of similarities between the two. They are both very good at adding little riff morsels behind the vocals. Can't wait till she decides to scallop her fretboard, those runs will be even more epic. Thanks for another insightful reaction.

A certain American celebrity once said, ``Rock was born in America, grew up in England, and was perfected in Japan.'' In addition to Band Maid, there are many other world-class groups in Japan. If you are interested, try listening to female groups such as Love Bites and Nemophila, and male groups such as One OK Rock. There are many others.

Yeah, to me this is Rock 2.0. This is the upgrade. Unfortunately some of our Boomer and Gen X compadres will never be able to accept that the old ways aren't coming back that this is the way forward. But I'm ready for it, wherever it emerges in the world.
