Wow! Great video man! Loved the music rant! Reminded me of our conversations we have sometimes 😂 I do love this game and it one of my most rented titles back in the day. But only having 5 songs wasn’t the best decision. But I still love it. “Rip is another time zone” great stuff man

This is a legit Top 25 SNES game for me. It kicks all kinds of ass. That recent Blizzard Arcade Collection is worth it alone for the “Definitive Edition” of this game that’s included which uses all the real licensed music. So badass.
@RonManGaming2 жыл бұрын
I actually didn't know about the Blizzard Arcade Edition - I should check that out. I know I was somewhat negative in the review but I really do love this game.
@TIDbitRETRO2 жыл бұрын
@@RonManGaming I’d highly recommend the collection. It includes Rock’N’Roll Racing, RPM Racing (which is dogshit), both Lost Vikings games, and Blackthorne. It’s got multiple versions of each game, and a bunch a “making of” videos with the original creators of the games.

This is a pretty good game, but it’s no R.C. Pro Am. I agree with you on the announcer. Beyond annoying. Great video bro! Love the rant!👊

Loved the review! Especially the music rant. It's pretty safe to say that you and I are both of the same opinion when it comes to music. Even though you're more in to punk and I'm more in to metal. The one song I absolutely hate is Crazy Train. It's so overplayed and in my opinion, isn't that good. As far as the game itself goes. I've never played it, but I'm also not a fan of isometric view points. I think they're just too awkward and add an unnecessary level of difficulty. As far as my favorite racing game. I'd probably have to go with the old tried and true classic, F-Zero.
@RonManGaming2 жыл бұрын
Yeah F-Zero is fantastic. Such a great racer, especially for a launch title. Yeah music is a weird thing for me. I do like metal too, I just usually listen to punk (blink, lagwagon, knuckle puck, etc.). For metal, I used to be huge into Slipknot although some thrash metal fans don't consider Slipknot to be metal. Oh well lol.

And you get to drive a hovercraft, SCORE! I do like the way Paranoid sounds. But not as much as Born To Be Wild.

When I hear Born to be Wild I usually think of Dana Carvey doing the karaoke scene in Opportunity Knocks. ...Awesome -Rock n' Roll Racing is good shit. 👍

This game is a must-buy for every SNES fan. I used to play this with the neighbourhood kids when I was 12 years old and frikkin' loved it. P.S.: Slayer - Born to be wild is way better than Steppenwolf's version.

I get you when it comes to Music Ron. For Example I think Blue Oyster Cult has some Great Music but on the Radio they play the same 5 Songs and considering they have like 30 Albums worth of Music it's a Microscopic sample of their Catalogue. Ron Im not sure what kind of Music you're into but I'm going to take a Shot in the Dark and say You Might enjoy Paul Gilbert. He's been playing Guitar a very long time and I feel like he can play any kind of Music He wants and make it Entertaining. Or if you want something weirder you could always check out Buckethead. Paul Gilbert actually was a Teacher of Buckethead's for a some time. but they Both make awesome Music.

I'll check out Paul Gilbert - I've never heard of him. I do know buckethead, though!

A little bit of warning for them who sees this: If you play with a friend you need to got 1st place 50% of the times and he/she need to got 2nd place 50% of the time and the rest 50% is he/she need to got 1st place and you need to get 2nd place. If you both dont have the same score points than you will leave each other in the dust a continue the game solo.
@RonManGaming2 жыл бұрын
That's good to know! I don't often play games with a second player, so I was unaware of this!
@rickykeim2005 Жыл бұрын
so here I am again just adding more Comments to the Pile. Have you ever played Road Rash? There's 3 of them on the Genesis and it was made for several of the CD based Consoles too. 2 is my Favorite because It's the one I played Most and I like the Music but they're Basically the same Game with extra stuff added to the subsequent Games. it's the earliest Example I can remember of what Id Call Battle Racing. where you can punch and Kick opponents to get ahead in the Race. also if you were ever into Rollerblading there's a Game Called Skitichin that follows the same Blueprint as Road Rash but you're a Rollerblader who can grab on to Cars.

RonMan Hating! 😂 I'm quite fond of Born To Be Wild, but perhaps that's because it brings to mind Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper on their Harley Choppers, just cruisin' out on a smooth stretch of highway! I'm sorry you wasted your time with Mild America starring Jonathan Taylor Bupkis, but you should watch Easy Rider instead, if you haven't already. It's easily a better film, and it's got your boy, Jack Nicholson! ☺

I appreciate your review. However, there is not proper depth or comparsion, I feel. Imagine the following at the time of this game's release. You are stranded on an island (go with me on this one) with one of the three top games, and it's all you can ever play: 1. Mario Kart 2. Rock n Roll Racing 3. Sega's top trash. I know which one i'm picking!

Sorry about that. I'll try and do better in the future.
