Phenomenal, what a powerhouse, his control of the strings is incredible! Mal always gave it his all and anything less than that was unsatisfactory. His River Plate performance was unbelievable especially considering that 5 years later he would be retired. You are listening to a master of the craft.

Malcolm is simply the god of rhythm guitar, he has everything needed. Every note played, everything is perfect, plus the sound of his guitar - something beautiful. Malcolm is my greatest master as a rhythm guitarist and he taught me what the jungle is and how to rock.
