She sang this shortly after her first grandfather died as a tribute and he is indeed on the picture. I do not watch this very often as it pains me to see her hurting. The friend is Ivan Mendez with whom she did a series of recordings. Beautiful recordings which are definitely very worthwhile to watch. When her other grandfather died she wrote 'Million miles '. She also did a wonderful tribute for her friend Avicii who stepped out way you young: she did a remake of his own song 'Wake me up'.

I use this angelina song everytime I have sawdust or something in my Eyes. I used to buy a bottle of visine natural tears for 7.00 . Now I just play always on my mind from Angelina and flush these eyes out. Great reaction buddy. RIP grandpa Angelina. God Bless.

I'm sure this has helped people that have bottled up their emotions after losing someone to let it out. Its as extraordinary that she put this out as that she kept it together as long as she did. What kind of person intentionally uses their own loss and grief to help others? We all know the answer to that question. That said, this is still very hard to watch.

Dad, I've now heard this video about 1,000 times and guess how many times I cry at the end of the song. Yep, every time. I can't let you go without telling you your comments were fantastic and I know she's in your heart. Oh, btw, she was 12 yrs old. So special. So, so special. I liked your comments about her projections. As wonderful as she controls her voice when you add the love in her voice which she projects there is no one like her and I don't believe there ever was.

This really hits me my daughters 6 children just lost their other grandfather and it was really emotional and the sixths baby Kobe was born 5 days after he passed I’m 75 years old and same with me it was hard and I always remember Angelina at times like this same with her Million Miles one 🙏👍👍

BEAUTIFUL reaction to the 12 year old barefoot Angel, singing with her heart on her sleeve to her grandfather that had passed away a few days prior. Imagine the guts needed to do this in the first place,let alone record it AND publish it. Not many people would have done that. But Angelina is a VERY special human being in SO many ways. She wrote an original song titled "Million Miles", I recommend you watch the studio version of this performance, few years later, and a heartfelt performance without the tears. Those were in her lyrics and delivery thereof... That's the most unique characteristic trait Angelina has, even a cover of someone else's song is always interwoven with emotions that will reach in and give your heart a big tug AND a big hug. Very honest and respectful reaction to a young girls' sadness... PEACE!
