Angelina was 100% responsible for the arrangement. Simon wanted to sign her, but she and her family wanted to maintain a more normal childhood until she was able to finish her education. She later, at age 14 signed with Republic Records because they were willing to give her more artistic control and allow her time to complete her education and go at her own pace. She has released a couple of originals since signing and they are both incredible. This young lady will be known one of the greatest of all time, once she is ready to dedicate her full attention to her artistry. She is a once in a generation artist. Thanks for a great reaction.

She was 13 in this performance. She landed a record deal with Republic Records as their 'highest priority artist' at age 14. She is 16 now and has only released a couple of songs under Republic Records, but covid slowed things down and the fact that she is still in school also plays a part. The two songs released are 'Million Miles' and "7th Heaven". Both are originals and she is working on an album.

I'm finding it hard to wait for her album. I am so looking forward to more original music from her as I think it will contain songs that will propel her more into the limelight. One can only get so far singing covers. I would also see her make a new recording of "Shield" at 16, not that there was anything wrong with it when she sang it at 12 but it is my personal favorite of her songs thus far.

She was 13 (October, 2019) when this was recorded as you would already know from the prelude to the performance in this clip. I had been following her for several years and had seen 90-100 or so performances she had on YT many times each. But, this exposure really caught on. Especially, because her family had kept her from being commercialized and protected her. Although many very influential people in the industry know of her (e.g.: Quincy Jones, David Foster, Mark Ronson, etc.) and thought she was great, the general public had not been exposed to her in the USA. I have to admit, I was apprehensive when I heard what her first performance on AGT-C was going to be. I had no idea how she could scrunch a 6-minute song with so many elements into a 2-minute performance. You would think, after a few years of listening to what she can do and being familiar with the way she re-assembled old favorites and, most importantly, knowing she was a prodigy (meaning, beyond my ability to comprehend), I would have had more faith. This performance flipped my faith switch and I no-longer try to prejudge what she is going to do. Hopefully, you will catch on much more quickly. Immerse yourself and we will enjoy watching your journey.

Thank you for this real reaction. Angelina did this performance about two months before her 14th birthday and yes she wrote this arraignment. She is now 16 and at about 6’ tall a beautiful young lady. Republic Records signed here up at 14 and her family had controls in place so she can finish school before a major promotion is launched. From age 7 to now she has over 160 videos and 5 original songs. Every performance is special and many were recorded with just a guitar or piano. I hit the subscribe button hoping for more Angelina. The following summer she signed with Republic Records as their highest priority new artist. If it was up to them she would be a household name by now. Right now team Angie has complete control and are prioritizing her childhood and education. She is currently only 16. Once she graduates it’s POW! to the moon with this one. She is already a star. Angelina's performances on AGT The Champions was her biggest exposure and then the pandemic hit. I believe her family was planning on a new album in the months after AGT but the pandemic changed everything. Songs which would have been on the album were used to negotiate with record companies and she signed with Republic Records in August 2020. From what I understand, her family had two conditions to seal the deal. First, Angelina remains in control over what she wants to sing and secondly, she be allowed as normal a childhood as possible. Republic has honored those conditions and has not promoted her yet.

Thank you for your appreciation for Angelina. Certainly, this performance brought more people to an awareness of Angelina's incomparable artistry, but the pandemic put a lot on hold for many musicians, Angelina among them. She had to cancel a few concert appearances, and it may also have delayed the production of her planned new album. As far as the arrangement is concerned, it is all hers. The members of Queen were so impressed that they shared it on Instagram and Facebook with, "Wow, what a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody" and allowed her to copyright her arrangement. I think that the second run is an echo of Brian May's guitar riff at the same point in the original. It is genius! Go back to that & let me know if you agree.

This was all Angelina. Angelina arranges, at least in part, if not in total, total control of all her performances. She has since she was 7-8 yrs old. She knows what she wants and gets exactly what she wants out of the artists and musicians she works with, many of them who are some of the most accomplished in the industry. Angelina has the most beautiful deep voice which is always in tune and quite often in her lower register. I believe she is a Contralto which is rare for a girl especially at this age. You will soon realize she is always Pitch Perfect and always performs at a Master Class level. I have watched this many many times and still when she starts singing the hairs on my arms respond :-) There are so many things to say about this performance, but for now I'll just point out that as soon as she starts singing both the jury and the audience go dead silence with only the occasional 'oeh', 'ah' and 'wow' coming out. Without a flashy show she captivates audiences and touches them. I don't know if you have seen her performances at the ages of 7 and 8 at Norway got Talent? But what I see there is a super adorable little girl entering the stage with the artist emerging as soon as she starts singing. Even then she just pulls in the attention of the audience. Sir, at 13 years she is an old hand in the music world. Started singing at 1,5 years of age. NOW, Queen loved her rendition so much, they put it on their own Twitter account. You've covered two very different song styles by AJ which is a good start to the repertoire of the girl of a thousand voices. In both cases, you have been exposed to her ability to arrange songs and work with her accompaniment to produce stellar performances. This performance expanded her exposure in the US but its hard to say if her trajectory was changed by it. She signed with Republic Records a couple of years ago with the understanding that her schooling came first. With the pandemic and other priorities she has not yet exploded onto the scene but continues to post songs (original and covers) and work on her next album, her first being a charity album with the Norwegian Army Staff band, "Its Magic", when she was 12. thanks for sharing your impressions

IMO, no one has honored the legend Freddie Mercury (RIP) better than Angelina with her own rendition of this iconic song. Angelina signed a contract with Republic Records on 2020 after AGTC at 14 years old. Her family wants her to finish high school before Republic Records introduces her worldwide; hopefully, that will be later this year. I suggest reacting to her for second time honoring FM with the song "the Show Must Go On."

It took Angelina, at the age of 13, to have the courage to turn a rock song into an emotional ballad. Since this performance, there have been several young singers who have covered Angelina's version.

If you’re open to suggestions, I’d like to offer a couple 😃 I highly recommend having your videos go public much earlier. With the reactions you do, I’d say your demographic ranges most from 18-35. So somewhere around 3pm pacific time. That’s perfect because on the east coast, the adults are usually home from work, ready to eat and find something to watch while they do. And on the west coast, the younger audience is typically getting home from school and hopping on KZbin to find something to watch. The first two hours after a video drops are crucial to how it will fair with the algorithm. If it’s getting good traction, KZbin will push it in more recommended. If it doesn’t fair so well, KZbin will assume people aren’t interested. Second suggestion, and personally the most important one… NEVER CHEW GUM WHEN ON CAMERA! Oh my GOD! If for some reason you absolutely must, then you neeeeeed to mute your mic when you’re not speaking, or move the mic away when you’re not speaking, and back when you are. It is such a horribly disgusting sound. And for people with misophonia like me, that’s an instant dislike and click out of video. Which the algorithm will not like. I didn’t do that, because I genuinely feel you just didn’t even realize you were doing it. As opposed to the kinds of people who purposely do it obnoxiously. Please. I beg of you lol
