Man this makes me feel old I remember going to a shambles gig in a small hall 2004 libertines album was out . Pete was playing small gigs gemma was on drums .. girl I new wasn't much of as fan but was pretty had thick long ginger hair he was really tall skinny looked baby faced .. but held her hair looked at her and started talking to her reciting some poem .. and yeah she changed her mind could see her blush was captivated by this tall guy she had just read about taking drugs in the paper I was a big fan of there music.. she got to share a moment with him he got whisked away by his manager or someone.. but she said 🙄 yeah he's so nice and polite could tell she was taken in with his charisma and confidence.. went from I don't no why you like that druggie so much .. to 🤩😍 he's so nice and polite his voice is so soft 💗 was holding my hair telling me a poem about beauty. Yeah guy was a dark horse with the ladles changed her mind about him forever in 15 seconds.. now he's older doesn't seem that long ago wee were in our late teens he was this young baby faced guy writing songs that were lyrically amazing at a young age living this crazy lifestyle.. now I have a two kids ones a teenager now .. yeah how time flys glad he's still here he's outlived athletes that were super fit guys that never touched a drug in there lifes ... good to see Pete married happy with a baby and still making music
