Shingo Yabuki Lol, bro. In all honesty, Shingo has an awesome gimmick. His criticals don't usually come out from random, but rather by spacing. I swear, you can take out stupidly good damage if you combo his half baked Aragami when spaced, its much more clear on KoF 97' and 98' though.

Shingo Yabuki Oh yeah, your SDM, that shoulder tackle DM (can't remember the name), that was sure something, you were one of the only people who had the ability to SDM and go in for a regular DM, essientially making your shoulder tackle SDM an unblockable. But you actually benefit more with MAX mode though.

I dont think they are unfair except 95 Omega Rugal and maybe Igniz. All the others are really hard but with some way to manipulate the AI. Orochi was very disappointing for me since he was supposed to be that big ridiculous boss but ended being very lame and easy to kill. PS: im saying about the KOF ones only. SS bosses are retarded hard.

Goodman was the bane of my mid teens...it made me just want to quit the game for good but then the sick roster and stages pulled me back in...then the cycle continued...

You still need to fight the real final boss, which is Goodman. Acidglow did fought him, and Goodman is tough and cheap as hell. Trust me Max, Mizuchi is nothing compared to Goodman.

And I enjoyed AcidGlow's own Boss Rage against Goodman, NGBC is a great game overall, I had to get used back in the arcades to do 1CC because the operator disabled the continues for a BIGGER rage from the players when they fail to beat Goodman, I got a harder time against King Leo, he took me about 20 tries to beat him for the first time, Goodman took me only 2 tries the first time, Mizuchi took me 4 tries and Neo Dio only 1 try.

For a character who has appeared in one game who is also the main character in that one game and appeared in other crossover fighting games like Capcom vs SNK for example i never knew Rock had such a fanbase who favorite him and wanted to main him and such in the SNK series.

just to add to what the other dude said, this is pretty much the snk equivalent of capcom fighting all stars which never got released. the best of the best, duking it out in a non canon tournament. ridiculously fun to play. and mostly everyone feels like they got lifted out of their respective titles, and got sprinkled with the new mechanics, and team attacks.

This game is one of SNK's best. The graphics,the gameplay and redesign of some major legacy characters(Hanzo,Athena and Ryo(Mr Karate) ) makes this a really standout title for me.

I am ashamed to admit, as a long time SNK fan I have never heard of this game before. But can someone please explain to me why a throw does more damage than a double super? Is the double super's only goal to decrease the red part of a health bar?

Yeah the tag supers take off red health and power up one of your characters Regular supers do good damage

It switches your character, has no meter cost, and eliminates red health, making their own tag stalling worthless. Thus it's an extremely valuable move to do and making it have regular super damage would be Marvel levels of broken.

Max. I hope you know all SNK fighting games when you go into options have a really great arranged better scored version of the game soundtrack to play in the background. Scroll to and set music to ARRANGED SOUNDTRACK in options. The default score is for original arcade release, rescored for console release.

There are four Boss in this game Mizuchi the Spam King, King Lion the Easy one, Neo Deo the Godly, and last but not least Goodman the Animal Tamer! If you wanna fight all of them I suggest going through survival mode it's easier that way.

He got a hard time against Mizuchi that the failed fights ended like a quick showcase, I'm amazed that Max actually readed my "rolling move" comentary of Twitch chat that day about using the Super Gauge (He didn't notice that until He fought Mizuchi). To be honest, I have a WAY harder time against King Leo in this game, not even Goodman can make me feel rage.

Should have played tag team mode. It's actually the "real" arcade mode. It's just straight up tag team fights until you reach a boss. No having to heal your health or anything like that. The "arcade" mode in this game is more like a survival mode where you fight until you run out of time and then face one of the 4 bosses depending on how you did. Mizuchi being the lowest on the totem pole, then King Lion, the Neo Dio, and then finally the real boss Goodman....who is a nightmare.

I had to remind myself how to play this as I was watching you. xD The mechanics are not very obvious or well explained. Your goal is basically to finish as many battles as possible before time runs out, so you want to use all of your service selects to increase the time limit... then just either never take damage (or die to refill it?). Then your final boss is chosen based on how far you got. The one you got is literally the lowest/easiest one.... XD

Max you are really gonna have to sit down and actually play SNK games otherwise you are gonna struggle with them. It's more fast paced and the combos are different than street fighter. If you can use Rock Howard l, you should be able to use the rest of the fatal fury team like it's nothing. Another thing, I've noticed that when you play most fighting games you like to be fancy which is fine, but you have to be precise in SNK games or you are fucked.

usually this is how it works, you gotta win the amounts of win icons to fight a different boss at the end. for example if you win 20 0r less times like 7 time and the Timer above you runs out? you will fight the first Boss from King of Fighters and if you fight and win against 30 or more you will fight the 2nd boss of World Heroes. and so on!!

I'm not going to deny for one second that a lot of SNK bosses are cheap as shit and therefore unfair. Having said that, Max clearly does not want to put the effort to play these games for more than a couple of hours and trying to get to the actual boss. I know the intent of these videos is to showcase Rock in every game he showed up and that's it but now I can see why it's a lost cause requesting him to play old SNK fighting games. Still, enjoyable video!
