Yes, I recommend to connect to the main water with water filter. The brew unit needs to be maintained with silicone grease once a month in case of commercial usage, I made a separate video on E61 brew unit maintenance in German..

Big question! Can you measure the depth of the feet? Essentially, what is the minimum counter depth needed to have all four feet sturdily on the counter?

Ja auf jeden Fall, da Dualboiler besser sind, wenn man mehr experimentieren und verändern will. Preislich ist die Mozzafiato besser. Ansonsten würde ich auf die eigene Intuition vertrauen. Ich selber liebe Dualboiler, habe aber mit Wärmetauscher-Maschinen auch kein Problem.

Cool, but why would you put sensitive electronics like the touch screen right next to the steam wand instead of on the other side next to the hot water?

Right handed people. If it was on the right side you wouldn't see it if you are right handed. Electronics can be completely water proof as well. I am sure this is rubberized.

@@richardgirard8218 What do you need to see it for while pulling a shot? Shot timer is on the left built into the machine. I hope the USB port is waterproof and corrosion proof as well. Lots of steam in that area. It just seems like an easily overlooked design flaw.

Wenn ich das so sehe könnte ich meine alte R58 glatt verkaufen und die neue nehmen Grad das neue Display, die zeitprogrammierung für an aus und der Shot Counter sind super und fehlen mir bei meiner. Und mit dem alten System fürs Wasser messen habe ich auch nur Ärger gehabt da funzt das neue sicher besser
