Nice and informative video as always. I have been using Nightharvester ever since I started playing lol a week ago, and I've been researching for awhile to see if there is any reason for me to switch it up. Hours of scowering at this point has simply led me to the conclusion that Nightharvester holds an edge and his video has confirmed it for me. Although I do like to go the riftmaker build from time to time too.

Vlad main here. Would like to share a build nowhere on the internet. When I’m going against multiple tanks/ juggernauts, I actually build Liandry’s>Demonic>Void Staff with sorc shoes. High AP is the only must have stat on vlad, the gold spent on mana is irrelevant to me as I just rush codex and the overal price of the mythic is the same. Double burn vlad melts everything, you’re basically another brand.

Believe me I've tried liandries vlad more than I should've but it's delusionally bad tbh, especially considering how gold inefficient you are, and on vlad you already have a hard time scaling in time so building inefficient items is only going to make that worse. A good build against tanky teamcomps who do not stack MR would be something like this: nightharvester --> deathcap --> shadowflame --> demonics. Against hp stacking champions who do not stack MR it's important to prioritize RAW ap over MR so that's why going deathcap second is very good. Shadowflame will give you flat pen which is good because they don't have a lot of MR and demonics gives you all the max health burn you need. On top of that the ability haste from nightharvester helps you getting off multiple ability rotations.Against teamcomps who heavily stack MR you could go something like this: Rocketbelt --> cosmic --> dcap --> void --> shadowflame --> demonics. This way you get all the magic pen you need to shred through the MR and you get the raw damage from death cap and max health burn from demonics to shred through their hp. Boots in both builds rely on personal preference for the early game, in lategame sorcery shoes are almost always the best option. I hope this helps :D!

Hi there, I’ve stumbled across your KZbin lately and I’ve loved your content. I think you’re the best person for this inquiry. So I REALLY really want to main Vlad. I think he looks just so cool, I love farming to scale, and I love how OP he seems during mid to late game. I have watched hours and hours of videos, from you and whoever else pops up under “Vladimir lol” on KZbin. I feel like I have an understanding. However when I go into games, it never ever ever goes the way it does in the KZbin videos. I feel like I’m not doing damage, I die before I can get my empowered Q’s, my range is too short in team fights so they all just jump on me and take me out. It’s annoying and confusing. I want to learn Vlad, I want to Main him, I love him and he’s so cool. But I must be doing something wrong in terms of actually playing him. Because I am always the first in the map to 100+ CS, I always get my night harvester fairly early on - literally my early game is PERFECT. But my mid to late game I get lost. I can’t solo kill people in a side lane. I push the minion wave then have to leave or else I’ll die. I can’t really go join in on team fights as I feel I do ZERO damage and will inevitably just die. So I’m sort of left floating around with no real idea or purpose of what to do… I think it has to come down to my killing ability. I can’t be playing him right. I must not be using his spells right, or keeping the right spacing, or making the right choices. I must not be having the right ideas in mind when it comes to how I can kill or outplay an enemy. And I’m struggling to spawn those ideas. I’m really really hoping you could make a video trying to break these things down for even the most basic Vladimir wannabe’s like myself. However you wish to make the video. My idea is, pausing clips and explaining exactly what your thoughts are, how to use your abilities successfully etc etc. “So I just used my Q here. The Amumu is still walking towards me so that means I have time to *blah blah blah* before my empowered Q comes up, and then you do this to secure and finalize the kill” Something like that, I need it properly properly broke down for my low elo brain. I beg you assist me learn Vladimir please. I really want to one trick him, I WANT to be good at him. I just need a little assistance to get me going in the right direction. I already uploaded videos of me literally playing vlad and I will continue to do that so that's basically the best thing for you to look at. However what you're talking about sounds like a very specific case and there isn't something like 1 video or 1 answer to fix your struggles. The only way I can truly help you out with your struggles is by coaching you. If you're interested in that, you can find the link in the description below. I would love to help you through coaching cause honestly there's no way I'll ever be able to come up with one answer and one video or even multiple videos to magically make you climb. Also often times what we think we struggle with is actually not what's holding us back from climbing. Therefore I would need to look at how you play the game and come up with solutions. Riftmaker is basically a for fun item no matter in what situatuon so when you're tryharding for lp I don't recommend it :)

Honestly i prefer night harvester build path. It is just so nice early game and you get your important items really fast. It makes you deal a lot of dmg from early parts of the game. Rocketbelt i do not like so much i think it is just not made for me :D You made a really nice video thank you.

what is your opinion on building CDR shoes, rocketbelt, Rabadons? this is popular in china and i think it makes sense because you get early cdr without buying codex while getting MS early which is good vs champs like syndra or xerath. then you can go rabadons second because you dont need cosmic for cdr anymore. i know you lose out on magic pen, but i still think you should sometimes this path. In china they often use it with conq or aery

I think variations like the one you just mentioned and perfectly plausible and I do it myself as well, in the current meta I don't follow those common/standard builds. I will upload a video this week, maybe tomorrow explaining which setup I personally like to go (small teaser: it also includes ionian boots)

I love going rocketbelt on akali but I just can't seem to make it work on vlad. Nightharvest feels much better for me.

Rocketbelt feels good once you have it but the build path only feels good when you're in a lane where you can burst your opponent. Maybe you can try to combine ionian boots with rocketbelt, that could help out :)

In the NHV build why not just go Shadow Flame 2nd and Death Cap 3rd or 4th depending on team comp? Also where would Mejai fit into theses builds?

You can definitely do that but I'm making a dedicated video on that, which should be uploaded by this weekend. You can buy mejais at any stage in the build mostly starting after completing the mythic item. Your mejais will count as your situational item in both builds. Hope this helps
