One thing to note is that if you have high movespeed, or can obtain it during flight, your flight will be faster in W. It's directly proportionate to your movespeed value with about 100 more speed on top. While using Q your speed is reduced by half. So if you're in a bad situation and need to get out, don't keep firing Q, just fly-- you can still cast E and R without slowing yourself. The distance has nothing to do with how quickly you get there, so you can be flying for much longer if you want to arrive later by just firing Q at open space.

Lol his kit was the most unique in the game and I had fun with it like I have with no other champion. I played him to M7 because I liked the gameplay. If I wanted a generic infinitely stacking scaling mage with AoE, I would have played viegar.

As a lvl7 Sol main with 500k mastery and Aurelion as my profile picture and desktop wallpaper, i can confirm that Aurelion's kit was truly TRASH 1. Aurelion couldn't deal dmg to champions that enter the outer limit. Best he could do was a Q microstun and auto attack which was pathetic (or ult if he had it). Further exacerbated by the fact that every champ either had a dash to get on top of him or more range than him. 2. He dealt poor damage unless he was ridiculously fed 3. He was a mana sponge whose strength was pushing but couldn't push in many matchups because it was a death sentence. **Refer to No.1**. So, bad at laning and mediocre at teamfights because he lacked damage. The champion was objectively pathetic. The kit itself was one of the best riot has ever made. Clear strengths, weaknesses and a unique skillcheck in terms of kiting and overall movement since old Sol needed to move to deal damage. The problem was that no other character in the game has such an honest kit with clear weaknesses to exploit and his weaknesses were something any champ in the game could leverage. He was a genius design for the wrong game. New Sol is a much better fit and all the Sol OGs recognize that. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

@@johnysimps1191 the new kit might be healthier for the champion's popularity or better suited to the game, sure. Oldsol may have been easily countered and unwieldy. But I fell in love with the original design for a reason, because it connected with me. The ultramobile kit and roaming tools just felt wonderful to use, even when I was being hard countered by a zed or whatever. I played asol because he was asol, fully accepting any of the drawbacks that came with him. Didn't matter that he was bad to me, what mattered was that I found playing him a genuinely joyful experience that the game now feels hollow without. The rework gave us a smoother and cleaner champ, but also a far less interesting one. I would like to see more 'out there' champions like asol and aphelios. I would rather have a single genuinely unique yet useless champion than a hundred balanced and insistinguishable ones.

I think its close to balanced rn. The reset is totally fine after he gets a kill, but i think they should nerf the scaling of the q with his passive slightly otherwise this champion has not much mobility and is weak af early, so u can easily punish him really easy. I think his Q range is too much. For tanky he is the battlemage category sure is spot on for him but he feels TOO safe. Reducing the range for his Q would force him to BE in fight and not just kill you from behind walls in every teamfight. It's not that he shouldn't, it's just that a battlemage that can erase you from far away while being chonky is a bit too much an nerfing damage would be bad imo.

@@omnimon6256 nah Q renders him immobile if no W. The range is good since shortening the Q range is too much since it's his main source of dmg. Another thing to learn about Q is that it damages the first unit closer so you can't aim behind someone when a unit blocks it. I punish Asols knowing that at early phase so I could win in a trade barely getting hit except from his E or retaliate from behind an ally killing him in the process. Asol is all about positioning. Bad Asol players suck at.

This video was a bit overwhelming. To be fair, Aurelio is one of the simplest champions to play but also one of the most difficult. It also plays very differently in the landing phase depending on the elo. It is similar to Illaoi in the teamfight aspect, but unlike her, you can't avoid teamfights and split push. You only have one E and one R per teamfight, and you're locked in position while Q'ing. His gameplay is based on strategy, macro and map control. You need to find the adequate spot to use your abilities to win teamfights, and the W use is very conditional as well since you move in a straight line very slowly while Q'ing.

The only way to keep him under control is to negate his early game, like, as you mentioned, kayle. The more time he needs to scale, the better is for your team to punish him negating his scaling, even nasus and veigar can 1v9 after 30 minutes of stack farming, i admit that asol's numbers are kinda high and ofc he'll be rebalanced (either his early game slowed down or his late dmg nerfed) but damn he's so fun and rewarding to play now

No lmfao. Scripts don’t care if your spell is a point and click/projectile/ray/aoe/uses your champion’s model as the skill like shen taunt. Why would you even think scripts only work on projectiles? They even show your cooldowns and autoattack range. And can even calculate if it’s a dangerous situation and it’s necessarry to dodge just so it doesn’t appear suspiscious.

@@kaizerheikichi3662 you’re welcome. A good way to see if a person is scripting is usually during teamfights. Because in 1v1s a good script allows them to get hit by abilities. But in a teamfight they just start acting like a bot, even with their target selection. And if you see some bs like gold 2 xerath being the rank 3 in world with shitton of damage everygame, they’re most definitely scripting. Definitely report them…

"R isnt a proyectile" thats where you are wrong lol just because that yasuo sucked a using his W doesnt mean the R cant be blocked, ive seen like 6 yasuos blocking Aurelions R like a bazilion of times, the only thing it doesnt block/cancel is the shock wave of the empowered R but besides that Yasuos windwall can block AS R

lil tips for anyone but if u go cheap shot instead of ToB ull be hitting hard caz of rylas, also u can go rylas firt item to delay RoA so u get more value from the lv up so instead of lv 12-13 it can be from lv 15-16
