So apparently (according to another review I’ve watched) you *aren’t* supposed to use the eraser on the pens because it’ll damage the pages over time. I don’t have a rocket book, but that’s just something I’ve heard, so keep that in mind.

Just be gentle when you erase, and let the ink dry for a few seconds before you erase.

Thank you for your honest review. You have NO idea how many videos I've watched over different planners, notebooks, all-in-ones and so forth. You're the first person I've found that I felt was truly honest in your review and kept me interested the entire time. You're personality is a lot like mine, so I was engaged the entire time. I loved your idea of letting your child use it, scanning their artwork, then they can create again and again. I have 3 kids that love to draw and this is going on their B-day/X-mas lists. I subscribed to your channel right away and I look forward to your other reviews of other products. You're the first one I'll come to from now on... Fusion, has a project highlight page, two weekly pages, a monthly page, one page with objectives, key results, action plan, reflections; then an idea page, several pages that have the dots, and then several pages that have lined pages. Still very cool.

Perhaps it was the pen that was ruined and not the book itself. The temperature affects the ink's usability and visibility.

the frixion pens ink is thermal, and the eraser works by heating the ink up through friction (get it?) which makes the ink go almost invisible. i accidentally left my pen in the hot car and messed it up, but i put it in the freezer for a few hours and it was ok again (not quite as dark, but still good)

I enjoyed your review and how you explain multiple uses: especially for kids and drawing, writing!! brilliant! However, the one miss in your review is stating there aren't lined pages. There are lined pages, they come after the dotted grid pages! I am now ready to start using the Rocketbook Fusion I got for Christmas after your straightforward review and explanations.

Thanks for the review. I got my first flip Rocketbook. So far it’s working great I got mine from Amazon as well. I also order the Rocketbook fusion from the Rocketbook website. I’m starting school again in a couple weeks and want to try something new. I do have an iPad but it’s not the same as writing in paper. I purchase this two because want to get organized and want to save on paper. I think the prices are affordable, if you see in the long run you are saving money on purchasing notebooks and saving the planet with all that waisted paper. I did saw another review from another channel saying that you not supposed to used the eraser from the pen as that will damage the pages, only used the cloth

Frixion pens are my only pen I use for work. I have them on many colours. Check out the frixion family, they have regular pens (not gel) and come in 0.5 or 0.7 and they also have markers and highlighters. I absolutely loves these pens and love the concept of this book. Might try this out. Thumbs up

We're old school and we love it. We rolled our windows down with a handle, and we used a landline phone when we were kids, and we know how to write our names in script, and we know how to add 4+7 without making a graph.

It's kind of cool. The only issue I have is my phone cloud is so full I can't add anything else. I have notebooks everywhere.

You don't have to save the documents to your phone cloud. You can save them in the app, to dropbox, or even to google drive.

You’ll erase it by wiping it off with the microfiber rag and water. The eraser ruins the film that’s on the paper that makes it erasable and reusable.

Do you think this would be great for note taking for school? I love using colors and highlighting as well. I mainly want to preserve my notes and keep them safe digitally, rather than physically. Would you recommend this still?

I have been so curious about these... I saw them way back when they had a kickstarter. Their original one to erase it you had to microwave the book. Yup, you read right. Hahaha. Then I saw one more recently in the clearance section at target and now I’m kinda kicking myself that I didn’t get one. I love the artwork idea for the kids. Also, to compare my sons motor skills/handwriting progress would be awesome as I am guilty of always tossing it out ( too much paper!). I love handwriting lists... also jotting down funny memories or things the kids say. Thanks for the review! I just may get one of these now! 👍💗

It is actually one of my favorite memories. On my wedding day I had asked for a photographer that can take candid shots. I don't like photos that are too posed. When the photographer showed up he started asking for the craziest poses EVER! My friends and I were laughing at how ridiculous a lot of the photos were. This photo topped them all. I couldn't keep a straight face. He asked me to get in the tub in my robe and pretend to be talking to Alex on my phone. My bridesmaids and I were laughing hysterically. It is one of my favorite photos because of how dumb it is.

Great review! Honestly Jackie, You are very much a techie. You prove it by just knowing all about this. You edit and post videos, post to Instagram and twitter and Tik Tok. So I have to say you are a techie. Just like you are a great cook. Had to laugh as while you held up the pen you need to use I looked down at my desk and I have several in many colours. I have been using them for about 3 years but just on paper. I do like this rocketbook as I have a pad of paper on my desk so that I can take notes while on the phone, then I take more notes from a different call and then I am trying to figure out what each note refers to, so this may be my solution.

Sounds like you could use this notebook as a replacement for all your paper, especially since you already have these pens. Plus, it makes it easier to find a note that you may be looking for with this technology 🤷‍♀️

(Edited because I figured out what my point was.) I got one of these as a Christmas gift and, um, dislike it. Mine came with precisely zero documentation about how to use it or what to do with it and the only thing that is explained is to clean it. I have no idea what it's for or what use I could put it to, I was just handed this thing I'd never heard of and the giver acted as if I was given the best gift ever. That is, in fact, one reason I watched this video because I'd like to know what the point is. Unfortunately, I remain unenlightened. So, I'm told I can write words in the book and can turn that into text. Okay, but when I scan my book, I get pictures of a page with writing on it and don't ever get any text at all. That seems pretty useless. To get there, I have to do these extra steps where I to take pictures of each page and decide what to do with it and, it's rarely obvious to me when it is time to stop thinking and writing and start scanning and uploading. And, the end, what I have is a collection of pictures of notebook pages. If I wanted pictures of notebook pages, then I could take pictures of notebook pages, but that's not obviously useful so I never do it. In an actual notebook, it may not be searchable, but related ideas are often together which makes searching easier, and I often get sparks of ideas as I turn past the pages that don't have what I'm looking for. So, this product seems to combine the things that aren't useful about files on a computer with the things that aren't useful about ink on a paper page. Okay, maybe that's a little harsh, but my point is that if you give these things as gifts, the odds are that the person you are giving it to is not going to be nearly as enthusiastic about it as you are. It's hard to be enthusiastic about a product that you have never heard of and which doesn't solve any obvious problem you have.
