Honestly...I really only wat ch the movie for the singing numbers, and I have memorized all of the "goodbye yellow brick road" song, and the "I'm still standing" scenes!!! I absolutely love all of this movie though!!!

It was shocking and incomprehensible that Taron and the movie were pretty much ignored by the Academy; the only nomination was for the song "I'm Going to Love Me, Again," which was not performed IN the movie, but played over the film's closing credits.

I've been in love ever since I saw the movie "Sing" and saw that he was the one who played Johnny, and then "Rocketman" came out and I loved him even more. Also, it is so nice how polite he is in real life too!!

I've just seen Rocketman, and I must admitt Taron became one of my favourite British actors because of the film, then without him, they wouldn't have made this movie. I still remember after watching the film, next to my side there was woman who cried during the whole movie, so when I saw her I said, "wow, she cried like me when I watched Logan movie". Besides, I think Taron wih Joaquin Phoenix are one of the candidates to win the Oscar, so that would be difficult to choose who deserves to win?. Through these comments, I try to write more in English, so I hope I had written quite good. If I wrote something wrong, just tell me.

For some moments, I though that he was going to win at the Oscars but, Joaquin Phoenix was competing too. So I changed my mind, when I watched the movie Joker, it doesn't mean I'm not recognizing What Taron did in Rocketman, playing a real character "Elton John". In my opinion Taron's great performance is so comparable with what Rami Malek did in Bohemian Rhapsody, due to the fact Freddie & Elton are real life's characters. The only thing I can say about Taron is I fell in love with him, since I saw his performance in Rocketman, so I'm wondering; after playing Elton John, does he deserve to be named sir Taron?

Taron's accent isn't as strong as the host's accent (Sorry, I'm American and love their accents).

The Host is English....Taron is Welsh. You can definitely here his Welsh accent come through every know and then. But for someone to hear it.....you must know the difference. His Welsh accent is still pretty weak though....even when you hear it. It's somewhat of a mix to be honest. Which is often the case for Welsh actors as the BBC etc are all based in London.

I’ve read he has had a kind of training in order to lose a bit of his accent for a movie in which he played a London guy. Maybe that the reason why... English is not my mother tongue, so for me he has a very strong accent. Hahaha I’m used to American English, that’s why.

Not a SINGLE song from the Captain Fantastic album was in this movie. I think it's the only album from Elton John to Rock Of The Westies to not have a song in the movie.
