The PickledMelon isn't an entirely unique mechanic, someone on Reddit did that type of loop with the Snow Day puck a long time ago. I don't know if it's been done with the regular ball though.

I feel like I have to explain that using TAS in any situation other than a free play environment is both impossible with the plugin but also impossible in a practical sense. You build your TAS shots ahead of time, TAS can't react to other players or the ball. Playing back a TAS would require the ball and your car to be in the exact position that you originally designed the tas and then nothing to change through the whole shot. At best a TAS could perhaps be used for a kickoff, but macros already exist for that so it's not really a new threat. ​@@Unknown-yy8ilbasically a player makes an input and if they like it, they save state. Then they advance the game one frame at a time and make inputs on each new frame. If something doesn't work, or they want to try again, they can load the earlier save. This process repeats until they've basically made a "video" of inputs that they can play back to showcase the limits of a game when not held back by the limits of a human.
