The comparison between smash bros. and halo is unfair. Am sure balancing and modifying every cut vehicle in halo infinite is very tricky and hard to the point of completely having to make an entire new engine or so to make a vehicle work like water born vehicles. Am not tech savvy to know how game programming works but know enough to understand how hard it is but yes, having all halo vehicles old and cut would be AWESOME!

Yeah I’m pretty sure they’re gonna be bringing in new weapons, vehicles, and equipment regularly. The Bandit, Shroud , Falcon, Brute shotgun, Quantum translocator are confirmed and only 2 of those are coming S3. Also one map has a blockout for a new tank

Love seeing just how far Halo came with the UNSC vehicles. Shame Infinite removed all but 6 and added the Razorback to make it 7. I really miss the old vehicles. Also, the "gas" cans on the backs of the Halo 4 Hogs are actually water cans as the Warthog runs off of water and not combustible fuel sources.

I actually think they intended on it being gas when they designed it because the warthog sounds like a combustion engine in those games instead of the electric whirl of the bungle games. I would think they wouldn’t need to carry extra water at all since I imagine the warthog could run on a single tank for a long time.

Since as Sloth stated they're not the really educated on wars, essentially cobras were early versions of the gauss tank, but could lock into place and puncture things, wolverines were the UNSC versions of the AA Wraiths, Cyclopses were originally loader mechs but later became battle mechs, grizzlies were stronger and deadlier scorpions, gremlins were mobile EMPs, and the Hawk was technically a prototype Wasp

I'ma say it Halo 4 has a really good weapon and vehicle sandbox (minus some stuff like ease of use and fuel rod cannons one shooting for some reason) it's just incorrectly used. About a year ago I set up an h4 custom game with no loadouts and weapons scattered like a classic halo map, and it was honestly a blast, it was so much fun. If halo 4 didn't deviate from the classic halo formula like it did, I guarantee it's multiplayer would have been received much better than it was

Mantis always stuck out to me. Both looks and gameplay. Since the vehicle health system changed starting with Reach, a single seater vehicle capable of anti-infantry and anti-armor that had shields that could absorb chip damage was OP. Plus it just looked out of place, like a metal gear.

The needle hog really should be added to Infinite, it makes perfect sense story wise, the campaign shows that the Banished are salvaging UNSC equipment, so you could have the Infinite needle hog be the result of the Banished jury rigging their tech together with salvaged unsc stuff

Once they took out dual-wielding I knew it was gunna go down hill from there Reach was great but if they combine the best attributes of an actual spartan (Halo 5 movement and agility with Reach suit abilities and customization options, and the og weapons and vehicles) in the next game Halo is now just a legend and will never be the same...battlefield and battlefront are next level and the fact that they combined halo and battlefront through mod is EPIC...what's next? I wonder...

The Razorback should've been a beefed up warthog halftrack like that old youtuber GoodWillHunting? made out of sone warthog and Wolverine Mega sets in 2011 iirc. Thing was beautiful. Had an extended and widened flatbed with a Gauss Turret, Rocket Turret, and the MG. One on each of the back corners and the MG was a bit more forward but still centered. Was also called the Razorback.

So the biggest thing I was looking forward too in infinite was the revolutionary capabilities of forge. I LIVE battlefield and made battlefield maps in halo reach (thanks to custom games browser I was able to play them and they were fuckin awesome), and so wanted to do the same with infinite being the “ULTIMATE FORGE EXPERIENCE”. I assumed and had based this idea on the hope that all the vehicles from the past were returning cause… why wouldn’t they? Same goes with the weapons cause I wanted very cool loadouts to choose from with roles and stuff. But alas, what we got was bare bones and my dreams will pry never come to fruition in infinite. Like for example I can’t make a designated marksman class cause the dmr isn’t there, and now they are finally adding it but… with no fucking scope? That’s the whole fucking point of a DESIGNATED MARKSMAN RIFLE! I was hoping for SMGs so I could balance out lodouts with more powerful guns with a weaker gun as secondary like the smg. But no smg for some reason.
