I was at the Guardrail for this show. They literally ran off the stage out of nowhere. I asked Security what happened, and the guy said they they weren't going to say. So I just waited patiently. I then heard people chanting "F**k that drone". After a few minutes(that felt like forever), they came out said "nobody is going to stop us," then started playing again. This was my 1st time seeing Green Day, and it's a show I'll never forget.

i dont disagree with the concept. the law is currently on his side. honestly i havent been to a show in the last 5 years where there wasnt at least one drone. the authorities do have a legitimate point though. in the last two years portable unmanned aircraft have become a key weapon of warfare. we are not in ukraine but the potential threat is legitimate. until the law changes we cant stop shows everytime someone does something like this when they have the right to do so in public airspace. this guy will face no consequences.

Concert Security is serious business. I used to participate in Lockdowns and Bomb Searchs at large venues. Some performers also are dealing with theats the public is not aware of. There is a lot of Security, using all available technologies. After 9/11 and other incidents, Security at large venues has grown with many well trained people.
