I too am 63 and remember the Reds from 1965 on. My first game was in 65 at Crosley. And we went to the opener at Riverfront in June 70. So tired of small market bad baseball. So far this young team is so much fun to watch/listen to.

Been a Reds fan for years, but you all know what that means. This year was the first year in a while that I really got back into following baseball, bought some Reds merch at the start of the season, and all the people I work with said "you like the Reds, why?" I just figured it out. Cincy is the oldest team in baseball so tradition starts there. The first night game ever was played in Cincinnati in May 1935. I sincerely believe if the Reds ever left Cincinnati for some nefarious reason it would be the beginning of the end of professional baseball.

Joey is a lifer. If he was going to get traded, it would’ve been years ago. He’s worth more in leadership to the Reds than he would be worth in productivity to another team. You can’t replace Votto. We need to get our pitchers healthy.
