They are the Easybeats. And the lead singer singer is Stevie Wright. And he was about 19 here.

Great song SC! Love those '60s! Peter Frampton covered this song on his 1981 album "Breaking All the Rules", I have it on cd so I hear his version of the song pretty often. Even though I'm a huge Frampton fan, I do prefer this original version.

Hey Karen, I’ll have to check out Frampton’s cover of this. The only ones I’ve heard were by Gary Moore, and Bruce Springsteen. I, like you, prefer the original. I was born the year this came out (1966), but many songs of this mid to late ‘60s era were amazingly good…I was just a little late to the party, so to speak👶.

@@karenduell1027 I listened to Frampton's version from your link, thank you for that, but most times, the original version of anything is the best. Even though I love Frampton, I'm like you guys, I liked The Easy Beats version the best.

This is such a great song.....There's been quite a few covers of this including a classic by Gary Moore and an absolute banger by a punk band called London. But its such a great composition it lends itself to so many genres........Happy sound😊

Oh ok, I think I read that somewhere awhile back now that you mentioned it. YT Uncle Chazblitz mentioned that in his post but I did not see where he said one of the members in the band was Angus and Malcolms older Brother.

Another great song and original music video from the mid '60's. It's great watching these old black & white original classic '60's music videos. We don't hear too many '60's music requests on this channel since it's mostly '70's but the '70's were some of the best music for me in childhood years.

That's true Ken, there's only a few of us requesting '60s songs. I have noticed that, for the most part the '60s songs don't get as many views but I will continue requesting them anyway because some of us really enjoy that decade. As a matter of fact, the next song I request will be from 1969.
@Ken-vk8pb
@Ken-vk8pb Жыл бұрын
@@karenduell1027 Yeah, I will also keep requesting some '60's music on the channel but most of my requests from the '60's will be music from the 1967 to 1969 era as that late '60's music is what I like best from that decade. I may at some time in the coming months request "The Rain, The Park, & Other Things" by The Cowsill's since I don't think Tammy has ever reacted to that song. This reaction channel features music from the '60's to the '90's but the '60's music is rarely requested and ignored but I have only requested just 2 '60's songs myself over the last year that I've been subscribed to the channel. Most people's music choice seems to be mostly '70's and '80's. Even the '90's music is not requested very often neither. But it's all great music either way no matter what decade it's from.

Boy you must be a great fan of the Easybeats. Did you know that most of those songs were written by the lead singer Stevie Wright and George young. When they were just starting out. George Young and Harry Vanda went on to produce the band AC DC . George young was Malcolm and Agnes older brother.
