Sheryl is such a blessing and such a great asscet to you in you both working together, and getting er done! GOOD! How is your own home coming along?? If I were there, I would by sure need a HOT shower at the end of the day, after all the gymnastics you both did just getting the boards and the cement board up. Your both awesome! God grant you both Many years. Amazing video. Thank you both. Appreicated. How did Sheryl do on her race??

Getting those self tapping screws to start into wood can be difficult, so a carpenter friend sets them into the wood with a hammer, then the threads can pull the screws in right away.

Not that it matters now, But for future reference they make screws specifically for attaching wood to metal. They are still self tapping screws, but they have an extra little flap on them for drilling the wood out. They worked pretty good the 1 time I used them.

@kenadams5504

Steel toes only protect toes ,anyway . Or, the steel bit chops off the toes if a concrete slab lands on your foot , so your foot ain't trapped, ( causing you to bleed out) .On this site they aren't handling anything particularly heavy ,anyway .And , they seem very skilled /careful .
