First lie, Rizzini makes only "first quality" guns. Then why the model 110?

Nice engraving but I'm not impressed with the shotgun. The checkering looks like only the base cut was made. The peaks aren't sharp and some lines run out of the boundaries which can be seen a few times during the video while others don't go all the way to the outside line. I've seen cheaper guns that don't have that problem.

That is called flat top checkering. It's best only english style checkering and the most difficult to do.

OK, I caught that too. It's not just him either. It's the namby-pamby world we live in. Helluva beautiful work of art though...

I love pheasants but who even cares what he calls it, I don’t care if someone calls it a horse or calls me a cow

Sorry, I wouldn't bid on anything you had your sweaty hands on. Wear some gloves, like the other guys.

Firearms are meant to be handled by peoples and then wiped down with a silicon rag to remove any transfer of skin acid. Wearing gloves handling firearms just like when handling rare books and manuscripts is actually a foolish thing because of the loss of tactile feel that can result in the damaging of the firearm or rare book or manuscript. This fetish of people wearing gloves to touch and or handle something is a relatively new thing just like mechanics wearing rubber gloves. The reason that the practice of wearing gloves has risen in popularity is in my opinion due to laziness prior to handling a exhibition grade firearm you should wash your hands just as throughly as a doctor before an operation and after you are finished handling the firearm it should be carefully wiped down with a silicone rag. That said even if a person is wearing gloves the firearm should be wiped down carefully with a silicone rag because unless you are using sterile gloves and are gloved like a doctor before surgery and then never touch anything but the firearm the gloves will have substances upon them that unless wiped off with a silicone rag can/will damage the finishes of the firearm. Lastly if you are wondering why I mention that when handling rare books and manuscripts it is considered by most museums and collectors to handle them with carefully washed barehands it’s because the chances of accidental ripping or damaging the book or manuscript is much higher wearing gloves due to the loss of tactile feet even if just a little.

@@gullreefclub You are 100% spot on, a very rare 7th century manuscript was badly torn at a eminent British museum recently. The student studying the manuscript was wearing very fine white cotton gloves which caught on a microscopic tare on the edge of the page resulting in severe damage. The new protocol is thoroughly washed dry bare hands. The same applies to any item the gloves can catch as the person handling an item puts it down next thing crash, it's on the floor. Clean hands YES gloves NEVER,
