I am the proud owner of a 1878 12g side by side with a really interesting knot in the woodwork, demascus barrels and the famous dolls head locking mechanism. Definitely my favourite gun maker from Birmingham. Owning a piece of history like this is a blessing.

I still have my great grandfather's Greener double barrel 8 ga. Shotgun. I still use it periodically . It was made in 1886 and heavily engraved with beautiful wood with the exposed hammers. This firearm is my go to shotgun for several issues, thieves and small game up to and including opening doors. Welcome to my world in Alaska.

I remember that in the movie Big Jake, John Wayne’s character used Greeners. The first time I ever heard that type of shotgun. Now I’m seeing a group for auction. All fine weapons.
