The robot masters in this version looked like they actually put up a decent fight. The biggest flaw for them in the PS1 version was that they flinch too much against their weaknesses, it made some of the fights a walk in a park

For me the robot master sprites are the only things that have a official level of treatment (not counting their powers), everything else could get a bit of work

Sriram Jeostarzz I'm sorry but I will have to disagree by lots of reasons: 1- the bad soundtrack quality 2- the horrible VA team 3- the fact that the pixel art of the ps1 version is way worse than mega man & bass's pixel art 4- a unnecessary characteristic from X8 that the boss screams the name of the weapon 5- the fact that in this game we don't have neither rush coil or jet 6- the fact that in the ps1 version, there's NO energy tanks to refill your health 7- some of the best weapons in the game have a very cramped range or ammo 8- the fact that the game itself doesn't explain it's history 9- most of the mini-bosses are really annoying to beat without weaponry and stuff 10- at the start of the game we don't have acess to the 2nd robot master crew, so there's no way to get some bolts at the start of the game 11- there is a very very VERY CRAMPED amount of bolts in the game indeed the mega man 8 famicom really cleaned a very large amount of the dirt that mega man 8 left. mega man 11 did a nice job so that's the reason WHY mega man 11 is so hell fun to play in comparision with 8 which is my least favorite mega man game

In Rockman 8 FC, if you get a game over while playing a wily stage, there are two options. Continue or Stage Select. Continue places you at the start of the wily stage you are currently at while stage select returns to to the stage select. The problem is that if you choose stage select and then come back to Wily castle, you have to go back from the VERY beginning of Wily castle regardless of what Wily level you reached. Shop can only be accesed at the stage select so if you want to buy e-tanks, tough luck. This is extremely frustrating especially when I'm at the final level of the Wily castle with no E-tanks. Ugh...

@@soggyspaghetti3636 Thankfully tho capcom did fixed that in MM11 where you could continue from exactly the stage where you left in Wily's Gear Fortress
