I love how true this is to the game's story and details. Like for example, in the part where Proto is trying to prevent Wily from leaving, he's easily taken down with one hit from behind because of how truly weak he is (which is accurate to the game's detail. This is the entire reason he has a shield). So yeah like epic detail fricken love these 3 eps

And ties to how his body has a fatal flaw with his reactor and that one wrong shot can easily destroy him and do a lot of damage, which is why Dr. Light has wanted to try to repair it, but Proto is afraid he'd lose himself if he let Dr. Light do it.

@@theobserver4214 I am 3 years late on this but, the reason why they change the art style was because of Focus Testing. Basically the people in charge get a small group of people (or in Mega man's case children) to test and see their reactions to the product. Apparently the focus testers didn't like what they saw, so the executives later tell the artist/animators to throw away their artistic integrity and also tell them to GO F*** THEMSELVES, BECAUSE THAT IS NOT GOING TO SELL TO ANY BOYS AGES 10-14.....So yeah, don't blame Ruby-Spears. Blame the executives and Focus testers.

Remember that crappy MegaMan show by Ruby Spears? Thats what THIS was originally suppose to be, making a MegaMan cartoon just like this with help from a Japanese studio. Even the trailers for the show showed the animation in this art style, but then some idiot in the studio thought "wait, how about we just make an Americanized version of MegaMan" and so this original MegaMan cartoon idea was easily scrapped and only made into 3 episodes in this format which was FAR superior to the Ruby Spears cartoon.
