Thank you for reacting to Charly again. Your take and my take on this is pretty much the same. Most relationships that end with the woman leaving or being unfaithful is because she doesn't feel special or appreciated anymore. It is my thought have a need to feel special and the center of attention. Don't know why, probably stems back to the whole 'daddy's little girl' thing. Where she was the center of her father's attention and was made to feel special. When she gets in a relationship, be it boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife, she still needs that feeling because it makes her feel safe. That is why they say a girl wants to marry her dad, because he made her feel safe. When you have other goals, be it being the best in your field, loosing x number of pounds or being in good physical shape, you don't stop working just because you hit the goal. You continue working to maintain the goal. If your goal was to have a relationship with the woman of your desire, you need to put in the work to maintain your goal or you will loose your goal and have no one to blame but yourself v

Wow…this song is a reflection of mine and my ex wife’s relationship before the divorce. I never cared to buy her flowers because I didn’t see the point in paying money for something that would be dead in a week. I would rather buy her an edible arrangement because you actually consume it and it “serves a purpose.” After the divorce, I did some major self reflection and adjusted who I was. Now, her and I are trying to work things out again, and yesterday I bought her flowers because I knew the day would be a tough one. Her face lit up so bright when she saw them!

@minilockwood24 Thanks for that fantastic post---it put a huge smile on my face that you experienced her smile after giving her flowers! Being (seemingy) impractical sometimes pays dividends. :-)
