Underrated Hank song, just saw him live again this past friday and he still puts on a damn good show

Thanks for choosing this morning selection, all by yourself :-- Hank Jr was one of the first 10 albums I bought, with my own money. The Hannk Williams Jr story goes like this. Hank was on the mountain walking, snow shifted beneath his feet, causing him to plummet down the mountainside, his body striking rocks with devastating force. His injuries were a fractured skull, shattered facial bones, and even his eyeballs dislodged from their sockets. The accident happened in 1975 and this song came out in 1979. As you probably guessed Hank penned this one himself. I would recommend watching the movie 'Living Proof'. Thanks for the reaction

Just an accident, snow bank gave away. But the Hank that went up that mountain wasn’t the Hank that come off it. His music was mostly middle of the road generic before the fall. (However the album Hank Jr and Friends was the real music turning point release a little before the fall). But after the fall come the southern rock beaded cowboy outlaw that we all fall in love with. He was no longer standing the shadows of his famous dad. It’s really like 2 different people.

You know what is sad? Over half the people on this channel miss out on great music simply because they don't know the artists name or the song.

I believe this is very true. People skip over my favorite artists all the time, because they don't recognize the name. It's very frustrating. Don is also the only person who has reacted to two of my song requests so far. I'm subscribed to maybe 10 reaction channels and Don is the lone guy so far. I do get likes though for my comments.
