I have heard a lot of Randy Travis songs, but never this one. I started to laugh when I heard it was a baptism. Thanks to Paul for the album reference. I have Randy's first album, signed by him when he was Randy Ray and playing at the Nashville Palace. He was also the cook that night, but I can't remember what we ate. I hate to see what has happened to him because of the stroke he had. He paved the way for a lot of great new country singers, such as Alan Jackson and George Strait.

Lol. The first Randy song I remember hearing was the one with the line about the wedding rings, where he says 🎶 I gave yours a fling🎶. I was listening to the song, expecting it to be serious, and when he came out with that line in that deep voice, it struck me as hilarious. When I think of him, I still chuckle. Never heard this one before. I really liked it.
