Phil Lynott a very talented wise and modest man . He was so handsome and charming . I would like to hear Philip's voice at least once live . I love Philip's voice because it's the voice of a genius . ♥️

I think a lot of us agree with Phil's assessment of Snowy White in Thin Lizzy, it's a shame that Sykes didn't appear on the radar circa 1980. White never looked comfortable, Sykes always gave the songs the respect they deserved.

Nah that’s a little disingenuous. Snowy was a BLUES player. Phil hired him after seeing him backing up Pink Floyd. He had also worked with Cliff Richard. He was never a metal guy. Yes he 100% looked awkward with Lizzy live. But they actually had more success with Snowy than with John Sykes. Killer On The Loose was a number 10 single in the UK. Nothing from T+L came close to that. Phil knew what he was getting with Snowy. You can’t hire someone for something and then expect them to be totally different once they get the job. That’s nuts.

Wow he throws shade on Def Leppard but he's saying the truth. Mercury Records got the lions share of Leppard royalties so of course their gonna promote the band they can get the most $$$ from if they become massive.

They had only been together for 10 years. "Parody"?? I wonder what he would think about bands like Metallica , who are DECADES past their prime and keep going in spite of it.

He was just saying that for PR reasons. The truth is Scott was exhausted from the touring and the drugs and their personnel and management were all walking away. Phil had a very bad drug problem behind the scenes and since he was the leader everything was falling apart.
