Phil had nothing to do with his son Macdaragh after Phil impregnated Macdaragh's unknown mother in 1968. Phil then went on to abuse drugs causing his marriage to Caroline Crowther to fall apart, leaving their two daughters, Sarah and Cathleen, bastards. Zero respect for Phil Lynott as a man.

tanja kivimäki Remember that time when my dad died and then my grandmother died and so I deactivate my Facebook for 2 days to grieve and get caught up on my work? Yeah. In that 48 hours I got 2 texts bitching at me for "blocking" people I would no more block than the man in the moon, questions to loved ones about why I blocked people and a payment dispute on PayPal from a client that I received LITERALLY as I am putting together the order. Give me the benefit of your doubt people! I've never EVER tried to screw anyone over or hurt anyone intentionally. Between people just now seeing about my dad, new shares about my grandmother and tons of people messaging me about stuff I don't have capacity for, I simply deactivated my account to focus on cheering the kids up and getting caught up. If you were in the mix of that and were somehow affected, I am sincerely apologetic. How on EARTH can 5 people who claim to love me and have best interest at heart seriously believe that I would block or harm them? ENOUGH. And- after this I'm totally deactivating my account again until I can get my heart and head straight. Please, for the Love of God, don't take it personally.

Tonyo1221 Yet, when Phil met his Guyanese-born father, Cecil Parris, for the second time (shortly after Phil's band Thin Lizzy were hitmakers), his father claimed he (Phil) did not recognize him. That upset his mother, Philomena. I also wonder what's up with his sister, Jeanette? She was also born to Philomena and Cecil.

"his father claimed he (Phil) did not recognize him. That upset his mother, Philomena" No offence to his dad but he abandoned them. Doesn't matter if he sent money down, he should have been in his son's life and he chose not to. I totally get why Phil reacted that way...his dad probably only wanted to meet him because by that point he was famous and was making money. We know next to nothing about Cecil and I'm sure he's not a terrible human being but he made some awful mistakes that I have little doubt contributed in some way to Phil's demons
