And while blackbeard is looking pretty confident and clearly has far more ambitious plans with lafffite and devon than imu does we're also seeing imu and the 5 elders panicking at their own incompetence. Imu so far has been portrayed to be incompetent, failed to kill sabo twice; and then sent all the 5 elders to Egghead to take care of luffy and that didn't do so well cuz not only did they fail at that but imu even felt joyboy's haki

U do have a point but just indulge in the thought …. Saturn did mention the blood line aspect …what if the devil fruits ability was to transfer his soul or just his will to a specific blood line only … doesn’t matter if the receiver is going to be born or has been born . Maybe Xebec saw it as his only option or who knows if it’s something even older leading back to the betrayal of joy boy and the same will is being passed down through a specific lineage .

I showed my wife the final panel of the last chapter and asked her who out of all these people would get the one piece she surpassingly picked black beard but also mentioned shanks looked very cool and collected. My own theory was that Blackbeard and shanks would have a fight and Blackbeard winning will go on to get the one piece but luffy will defeat him

So teach has 2 fruits one which nullifies xebecs fruit and another one being gura gura no mi which means it would be xebec who attacked shanks through teach and Thats why shanks couldn't predict him.It would have happened when teach was asleep

Good video. When thinking about Teach, I often view him as a One Piece version of both Hao Asakura from Shaman King & Father from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Where both were respectively the main antagonists, as well as have deep connections to the protagonist & their family.
