That is a cool mineral and one I've never heard of, and I agree, it reminds me of labradorite! It is very cool and all the samples of different rock you brought back, are so cool. The chrome diopside is beautiful. I love the green rocks and gems and chrome diopside is one of my favorites! And now bronzite too is going to become one of my favorites! That is such a unique formation out there! Montana is so different and wonderful. It has the most wonderful rocks and minerals and fossils and it's all packed into one state! Amazing! Definitely on my bucket list of places to visit! Thanks Theo, for the education of you unique formation! And the beautiful rocks and gems that it forms!

I'm going to have to find some bronzite, I'd never seen it until now. I tried some binghamite a while back, it has a chatoyancy like tiger eye too. The ore I bought was not very good, but there was a little red flash in it. Pretty cool. :)

Peridotite? As in where peridot crystals are found? I am hoping to source (soon) peridot for a personal memorial project. Also, I think your rock of Serpentine is Olivine. Is there a test?

I've loved bronzite for a long time and buy it to make jewelry. Unfortunately, most people don't like brown gemstones. Philistines. Larvikite has that awesome chatoyancy as well, but in shades of grey. If you make a small bronzite cab I'd be interested in buying it. TFS P.S. I thought olivine was one of the most abundant minerals on the planet.

I enjoy searching for cool minerals as well but I really got nothing from your video. Too much commentary about how pretty your finds are rather than info about composition and formation. You must have shown the same rock nearly a dozen times and all I know about it is it's bronzite. What is it made of and how does it form? Is it useful for something besides admiring? How does it look in a thin slice and/or highly polished? I hope you will take these comments as I intended, which is as constructive criticism not bashing.

It was an adventure into a new mineral possibly two. He spoke of getting even better pieces and exploring further. It was not a completed study. We love what we learn on these adventures!
