I'm having trouble with Rocksmith picking up lower tuning, using a 5 string bass any suggestions?

Im not totally sure, lots of bass players seem to have the same issue with 5 string note detection

I know alot of custom tracks have messed up tunings that don't register in the tuner screen but skipping tuner seems to work fine if you're in the right tuning. I don't honestly have many issues with note detection until I get into drop g so I can't help much there if that's the problem.

Does Chainbrain use the Rocksmith cable or does he go through an audio interface pike Focusrite? I currently use a Focusrite and Im having problems with Rocksmith sometimes not picking up palm muted notes, wondering if the rocksmith cable is better

I don't know why, but in almost every Dragonforce song I've heard, I always just hear TTFAF--Is that just me?
