I've been playing about 2 1/2 weeks with rocksmith... Got frustrated with the chords and the like... Thought... Learn a song... Chose this one... 99 consecutive notes 83% accuracy.... It is starting to throw different things at me.... But I am getting the hang of it. It is a TON of fun! I am after what he is doing... I've never played before, Rocksmith is all that and a bag of nickles! Outstanding job!

I just bought this game with inter-level guitar skills just tonight. This was the first song I picked for some reason. got to 69.0% in about 60 minutes... VERY FUN GAME. love how they keep adding to it as you get better.

so awesome to see this. I blame Forza Horizon. I'm obsessed with this song now... this, REM's "Losing my Religion" and Muse's "Knights of Cydonia" are the first songs I'm learning... I still can't believe I can play the bridge now at 100% now. Such a great game. I've only been playing literally only about a week. To be honest, I actually play the song with the 5th fret on the A (yellow string) and 7th fret on the D (blue string) instead of playing 5th on A and 7th on G (orange string). In my opinion, it sounds much better and the game still picks it up as if you were playing the chord properly so you don’t lose points! Give it a try!

That's amazing!!!! What pedal do you use to get your guitar to sound like that (if you do use a pedal)? Whenever I play along to the track with my guitar it doesn't sound right, hahaha. I'm only 13 so I don't really have many pedals, for mine I use either distortion or overdrive, what do you use???? Thanks btw

You should probably get a fuzz pedal. Perhaps a Dunlop Fuzzface or an electro harmonix Big Muff. There are of course several alternatives.

As a 14 year old myself I'd say a DigiTech Grunge pedal works best for this, and muse, and can also be tweaked into a Fuzz pedal. Hope this helps :)

Dont worry about pedals me being 14 i found sevral amp to have built i. Affects roland cube being a fairly cheap option i have em at school and are loud 80gx version but home use. I use marshal mg50dfx with a custom i built i cal, it strat paul les paul junior with emgs and floyd rose with nim strat neck cost me best part £250 and sounds great

You actually are supposed to mute the D string with your first finger. That's how this chord is played

Instead of just reaching the 14th fret, go up to the 15th, it worked for me. I think my guitar has some intonation issues.

For all the songs I play I try to add my own tone, but then it resets to the default tone that comes preloaded. Did you ever mess with the tone setup with the different pre-amps, amps and pedals and cabinets? I'm new to Rocksmith I haven't even had it a week and I've been playing around with the tones for the songs I try to play. I didn't know that the song you play has its own tone. I know that you have to tune your guitar for the song you're playing, but as far as the tone goes I can't seem to dial it in

I''ve almost cracked this song, up at 98%, but I cannot nail the very last bit. I cant hear what the rhythm of it is properly and so I cant really get the timings right, I always miss at least 2 or 3 of the final 15 notes. Starting to piss me off.
