I don’t understand why he worries about those people. Only reason I did this video was I was on his Facebook page and asked a couple questions. Next thing I knew I was blocked from the page. Rockstar has always been that way, he's a utuber that does ebay. Now that he has another product he is putting out he more than likely needed to have slow sells on ebay. Years ago there were a group of utuber's that called him out on his practices, he got terribly nasty with them. It's the same way with Ralli Roots your not allowed to say anything bad about the bigger utubers. It's just a no no, the problem is that the newer ebayer's actually believe what their putting out. I learned the first couple of years when I started ebay to stay with the smaller channels. I do watch Auction Professor every now and then when a ebay update comes out. I mostly just scan the channels, I've subscribed to yours and a few channels.

I do watch a few bigger channels. Cincinnati Picker is one of them, He is a genuinely good guy. I am not just saying that to waste my breathe. I am a friend of his, live maybe 10 minutes from him. Just a short story I must tell. I got hit by a tornado July 2022 and he was the first and one of the only people that reached out to see if there was anything we needed. He gave us cleaning supplies, towels, personal hygiene, laundry supplies, and so much more. Anyway he does so much for others and it is never known, he never talks about it or gloats about it. I love this guy, he is as genuine as they come. As for other channels (bigger ones) I do watch commonwealth picker/flipper, Shed Flips, and Hairy tornado once in a while, also Tesla picker, That is the extent of KZbinrs I watch in the reselling space, I do watch a video or two of others here and there, but not more than 1 every week or two. Oh yeah I do like The Picking Gilla, I like her videos too.

Thank you for this. I've said it before, I can't watch that guy...he feels like one of those old West Snake Oil salesmen to me. That is just my personal gut feeling. I have a hard time watching any channel that pushes products/classes/services to their KZbin viewers because it makes me question their motives. I think it's important to call a spade a spade so while you might tick off some folks who like that guy, you're speaking the truth and that's more important than being popular with everyone 😉

Thank you for talking about this. I’m a reseller. I’ve watched Rockstar flipper for over a year. My husband and I sell golf clubs on ebay. Sometimes sales are slow. We ship clubs all over the USA. Buyers will pay shipping. I also sell clothing. Bathing suits sell well. He talks about his sales. $14 a day? That sounds about right. We buy at thrift stores. Look for deals. Hope you continue talking about these you tubers.

Unfortunately the online selling world in general has a LOT of shady characters in it. Scams and fraudsters everywhere. People get called out, but they are very clever at re-inventing themselves and repeating their unscrupulous behaviour. I don't like it either, but i I do appreciate very much being told who to be wary of.

Rockstar used to have a huge Ebay store he sold all of it and started doing the postcards and cards. He has that new company and they list your stuff for $1 each listing. I would say he is focusing all his time on that business. No sourcing, No Shipping just guaranteed money. I know that my sales have slowed down since I started listing more sportscards. But I scrape out a living. I have been a full time reseller since 1997. I enjoyed your video and subbed. I also had a sportscard shop from 1990-2010. I know Casey bought a hockey collection that I think he overpaid on. Buddy I like his idea of getting rid of all the storage buildings and working from home. Cards are a hard thing to try and make money on them if you don't know them. That is the same for Comics. I don't sell comics for the reason.

So I would say a lot of big time KZbin channels deceive viewers. A lot of them showed videos of plush selling and now those big channel KZbin are on Whatnot flooding the plush market and plush is very tough to profit. It is more like the Amazon feedback scams, falsely making his product (the youtube page and the reselling group membership are the products) appear more valuable than it is. If true, it is a scam, not just a lie. I hope it isn't true, but is doesn't seem like full transparency is Chris' modus operandi these days.

Ok, in all fairness to Rockstar Flipper, he's moved into less selling ON Ebay and selling to reseller needs, like wholesale product that he could easily sell, and his listing service, which I've heard is amazing. Is there jealousy? Could be. But he's always put out "be careful of this person" videos. For years, even when he was an Ebay monster. Ok, for Chris....I've seen him flip flop so much over the years, and I've heard him admit to practices that aren't allowed by the sites he's sold on. So that's personal knowledge. As for the HUGE elephant in the room...the biggest seller on Ebay, number 1, just left Chris' business and put out a lawyer like video, that was written to clear his involvement in Chris' dealings. That was VERY telling. It told you, SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH CHRIS.

Rockstar flipper only recently shifted to the whole postcard sports card model. Before that he built a large bread and butter brand store selling volume . Believe he is trying to advertise his listing service. Watched him for years learned a lot but he has gotten further and further away from the kind of reselling I do mostly 8-25 dollar profit items. Have learned lots from daily refinement and his business model has changed greatly also have bought stuff I love from DR and stuff that was meh. Loved watching Nicole State but loss interest when she overextended her self with states crates and her shipping issues with eBay. Was scammed out some money for a subscription group by someone once associated with RS . All the videos and advice given lead me into the reseller life. I now watch lots of diff people and pick and take what I can to improve my business. Rally roots, commonwealth picker el ducho Becky park amber resells sell quick ship quick ,bin pickers( miss them) , hustle at home mom, commonwealth picker , flipping hippos and the list goes on and on . Disappointed that the recent reselling drama seems like high school all over again !

A lot of the big channels are an illusion. Don’t you ever find it’s amazing that resellers can go to Vegas for a week but at the time of filming it’s little Johnny dance recital. It’s Pawn Stars. Knowledge is knowledge and you have take with a grain of Salt. They’ve both given me solid advice that works! most KZbinrs contradict themselves often though. They are making money from KZbin and good for them. Money is money. You look at the logistics for youtube and figure out what they are making on KZbin(especially daily refinement) then naturally they’ll switch over to more KZbin and less eBay/posh. But…they’re still full of good advice, again as long as you take it with a grain of salt lol

I believe that Casey has more than one store so I would suspect that most of his sales are on his non-pub store. I see a lot of KZbinrs doing that. First of all, that's the store he allows the public to see, he has another one. Just like any entrepreneur, he has his eggs in many baskets; eBay, KZbin, wholesale, his listing company, and probably others he doesn't discuss. Casey is kind and knowledgeable and I've known him for a few years online and in person. So what you are reviewing is just one of Casey's stores, not the Rockstar Flipper.

I wish that people who have a new reseller channel, would build their audience on content that adds value, instead of ALWAYS bashing other resellers. Do the work, give good content, and people will subscribe. The reseller circle is a community, people do more harm than good for themselves bashing other resellers and name dropping just for views. Stay in your own lane, if you don't have something to talk about other than other sellers, then you should not have a channel.

I watch a lot of you tube videos and over 30% is over blown inflated etc. I don't care i have been selling on Ebay for 22 years and other platforms and really focus on my business only I let others do their thing and don't care, it is entertainment for me. I prefer smaller channels I get more info out of those then the bigger channels and more down to earth the smaller channels are put the small channels give good information out but they don't have the chance to grow their Channel because it ain't flashy enough I'm not a big reseller I may sell a couple of items a week or month play it take time to grow a business

Casey made it clear that this was his public ebay store... he has a private store and a lot of other wholesale connections (buying & selling), I think he's very well off.
