I hope the mail doesn't get slowed down, I live near a major processing facility and my feedback is always full of amazed customers about the speed of the mail. I do also have the occasional package that goes to Alaska instead of Oregon. Bit that is the exception to the rule, usps has gotten better since they figured out that packages are their business not letters like it used to be.

Live auctions are great places to source items. My best friend makes good money purchasing storage units from online auctions, but you have to have room for a bunch of inventory at one time.

I crosslist my listings and this has increased sales. eBay is my main platform but sales have increased with crosslisting. So I talk about online sales not just eBay. Not all people shop on eBay but other platforms. If you are not crosslisting you can miss out on sales.

I don't live in the US but a lot of this information is still relevant. Are they doing mail in ballots there again? yeesh

I wish there was a way I could donate good clothes/shoes to people in need(not just the castoffs after donation COMPANIES make their profit and over pay the corporate side)...like send directly to people in need with a note telling them I'm glad thry can enjoy my donation

When the CEO makes 200k a year Goodwill is practically a regular commerce store not a thrift store...we donate and they make A LOT of money with high prices off of our kindness....just like the donation boxes in parking lots. THEY RESELL HIGH END DONATIONS AT HIGH END "CONSIGNMENT" stores making a huge profit off our kindness ...smh..200k? Really?

I'm kinda glad I'm not shipping the next day anymore...had a customer cancel an order today...more than 24 hrs after they purchased it. I'm usually fast with my shipping but glad I wasn't on top of it today 😉 I hope you stay away from any shipping issues this Q4!

The insurance companies always so high percentage of accidents happen within five kilometers of your house. Will I do when I entered my vehicles is I ensured at agreed value not market value. Quite annoyed I had an ex taxi Camry hybrid 2010 model head 900,000 kilometers on it. I paid to half thousand dollars 2017 and last year some young prick reversed in to me at at fast rate and he was in a four-wheel drive. Anyway my vehicle was written off because his towbar punched through the battery management system. If I had market value I would have got maybe a thousand dollars but because I had agreed value at 9 thousand dollars they paid me nine thousand dollars. My tip is take a item to the post office and get it weighed. And go back home and check your scales. to see if your scale Is close to the post office scales? sometimes scales need to recalibration their videos out there how to recalibration your scale But some scale you may . Can't do it to it. Or just put a note on your scales. to add or subtract weight

i agree i take my stuff to the post office too but i don't use mine but i take them to a small town 4 miles down the road which is actually closer. if i have the item there before the truck gets there at 2:30 it gets delivered to the major city and on the plane that night yet and registering in the owners state the very next day most times saying en route to their post office and if i had mailed it thru my mailbox or at my post office it will read i created a shipping label yet instead of being in the buyer's state already. my route post office goes a different way and it takes a few days longer usually around three days before it even gets to the plane to head to the correct state. Know 1 thing i hate? Is all the political stuff in the mailbox everyday. I get mail once or twice a week normally but you can tell it is election year everyday now i get some flyer that i don't even look at that goes straight to the burning pile.

I do all my packages at night so give everyone a chance to pay. Then I'm lucky enough to have a main post office hub with a huge self drop off. Best part is I don't have to deal with anyone lol besides a few local sellers I'll run into at midnight doin the same thing lol but yea man good video. Lots of wisdom alot of people could learn from. Don't wanna stir the pot too much, but I think there will be less sells overall as well. Everyone is stressed out over November, and the state of the country. Without looking it up I bet the USPS additional charges are more for remote locations in the 50 states. Reason being is we all live in a zone even if it's Hawaii or Alaska. I've asked those customers in the past how they feel about shipping costs and they always say it's an expected amount. However within each state there will be really remote locations. Again just a guess who it applies to. It seems like it would be better if USPS changed their policy to say people in those zip codes may only get package delivery two times a week or something like that. Maybe it's the same difference. I have three-day handling on all of my items. I have no way of knowing if it harms me or not. eBay doesn't show 3 day, it shows estimated delivery date taking into account those three days. Occasionally people ask when something will ship.

I go in person to the post office too, since a couple years ago they lost something that they picked up from my house and they denied it. I don't trust the workers that come to the house. It seems to always be a different person, and when I used to rely on them to pick up, they skipped our house several times. So it was stressful seeing if they were actually going to pick up the stuff.

First, people are out of money! Second, thrift stores are raising prices so eBay-ing has become unprofitable! Thirdly, thrift stores are now selling on eBay directly, too.

I left eBay a long time ago. EBay no longer fits my business model. Don't use your web host as the bad guy or as an excuse for why you can't sell. It is your business so treat it that way. I like your videos and tips. Thanks.

I wouldn’t be shopping at that Goodwill, that’s ridiculous ! What state are you in ? I need to avoid it. Some Goodwills are still good and will be good as long as they continue to get good donations. I don’t see any of those retail items at Goodwills anywhere in my state. If Goodwill ever decides to go that way nationwide, then they won’t be far from going out of business all together.

Goodwill became shit 35 years ago. I heard stories recently of staff rummaging through donations getting all the good shit out. People aren't donating because they are trying to be you. What are they supposed to sell? I'll be honest, you resellers dug your own grave. You're greedy. You're even on cam talking about buying shit for a couple bucks and selling it for 1,200% profit. You've ruined almost every collectable hobby. From sports cards to Lego to slot cars, and action figures. It makes me happy seeing where alot of you are leaving or struggling.

I remember when Goodwill and stores like that were for people and families that needed a place to go to for affordable clothing - and not for pricks flipping said affordable clothing online for their own profit.

All the high priced stuff in my goodwill just sits, and ends up in the bins which is right next door.

10:14 100% if its donated and there volunteers It should not matter maybe if they would have given him that pair you and others might be talking in a better light about them but they deserve the negative press i have a small church thrift shop and they are a diamond in the rough and why i shop there and support them they before my very own eyes helped someone right off the street the let them pick out whatever clothes they need NO matter what the price was on it! that is how its done those are the true thrift stores that are TRYING to help make a difference in the community!

My local goodwills i still can find good stuff. Also i have a secret hidden spot. Its all about knowing what you have and where you are at. Yup goodwill has made the mistake of adding high prices on their free stuff.

forget the goodwill go to a local thrift store

Our local salvation army shut down the thrift store part a few years ago, about the same time our local Goodwill got rid of everything but clothes. All done on purpose and planned.

there's only a couple of thrift stores near me and finding anything good at them is very rare. they are like 75% clothes, of which most is women's clothes I don't need cause I'm a guy. I still go but I pretty much never find anything.

I read where Goodwill is using AI to check every resell item before it hits the floor for sale - meaning, they'll know if it's something with market value they can sell themselves on the Internet (like ebay!) or for full value on their floor. My neighborhood Goodwill is already doing this. However, a half-mile down the road is a private thrift store - seek them out. Good finds! Goodwill is just becoming another Big Lots.
