I'm so glad we have videos like these still that don't necessarily highlight the homelessness and crime in LA. We need videos like these to help the crumbling small business sector - it's ROUGH out here, almost zero profit margins in short and long term across the board moving forward!

Homeless guy walked right behind him. LA is so scary now! I’m subscribing and supporting him bc he is so daring! The crazy homeless are stabbing people randomly now while people are going about their day..at bus stop, in restaurants, on trains, just walking, even at campsites. My sister stopped going on train right before the poor woman was stabbed. Google stabbings in LA and even skid row. SCARY!

@@wtrbufalo it is super scary. But you just have to be vigilant and always note your surroundings. We’re entering a dark period, and we aren’t even remotely close to the worst part of it yet.

@@comfeefort I think that’s called the A-Line now. I just saw a video of a british guy take it - but he’s a seasoned traveler/hiker. My tip for that line specifically is ALWAYS stay at the front (where the operator is). You’ll be fine

The homelessness and crime need to be covered because it is the reality of living in and visiting LA. It's an inescapable part of LA. Pretending it doesn't exist isn't doing anyone favors.

What an awesome food court tour!!! Definitely had me hungry all the way through. And now I know what Topanga Social is, because I haven't checked it out yet, even though I'm a few blocks away. 😂. Thanks again for the great suggestions to check out!!!

Watched the whole thing. Thank you for doing this. Food halls are a fantastic way to introduce consumers to unique and delicious food made by small business proprietors. Also excellent way to deliver something for everybody (those of us who don’t eat meat). At Grand Central Market, you missed RamenHood, all vegan. Before you say “yuk’, give it a try. Honestly you won’t miss the pork. It’s DELICIOUS. I hope you do a 2.0, and try Mercado La Paloma near USC (Holbox, Chicen Itza, Ethiopian), small, but worth the coverage. Also small, Far East Plaza in DTLA Chinatown and there’s also Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance.

Ive found very few eateries in LA in prev yrs working downtown. Had no idea food malls/halls existed. I do know where Jonathan club is 😂. Glad theres places to go check out thx to yt

When did you work in DTLA? Grand Central has been there for decades. California Plaza, Arco (now Paul Hastings) Towers had lots of eateries in the underground plaza. Plus there was the Broadway/Macy's Plaza, 7th on Fig, There were and still are lots of options.

Bro thats not how you eat sticky rice. 🤣. Youre suppose to take a small piece, squeeze it into a tight ball, press the center of ball to flatten it out with dent in center, and scoop the food with it. Like a spoon

Dry Style Chow Fun is the Cantonese version of Pad Siew. The Chiu Chow version of Chow Fun with gravy appears to be related to Rad Nah.
