The Korean food scene has developed substantially in NY, particularly in Flushing. Then you have the huge Korean communities from Fort Lee to Edgewater, NJ.

Korean food scene in La is just awesome and the vibe is so welcoming. In my home city Vancouver, BC, we also have a strong Korean food scene with Sura as one of the best; but not as welcoming to non Koreans as the restaurant in LA. Locally, I have to go with my Korean friends to even get seated or decent service.
