I was there at the concert, I drove all the way from NYC that day to go. Wore my FDNY shirt and everything... I definitely got a little teary eyed with that tribute before A7X came out. I Much love and respect for all the bands and Uproar for that tribute. Never forget.

I was there, and it was so great to see the bands saying their piece, and of course the tribute before A7X. Every time there was a chanting of "USA", it was moving for me to hear. What a great first A7X concert.

9/11 was one of the most heartbreaking events in US history. At the same time, though, it brought America together as one. We all felt the pain of death and loss on that day and even now, America still bears the scars of it. God bless the spirits of those lost in the tragedy. They will always live on in our hearts.

i was there with 7 other people. We had seat 601-608 in row UU Was a amazing concert. Amazing tribute. Wanna thank everyone there for an amazing time. God bless america and take care. as i chanted from my seat USA! USA! USA! USA!

I'[m so happy they did this tribute. I'm Australian and I remember seeing the first bit of footage on Australian news really early in the morning and I woke dad up, not knowing what was happening and I remember dad standing there in silence. Heart goes out to everyone/ANYone involved in the 911 attack... x

This is awesome!! Thank you to all the FDNY/NYPD/Port Authority and all the other agencies that did all they could that day! You're an awesome inspiration to me! I love being an EMT/Fire Fighter and can't wait to become a full paramedic in the near future. Thank you to the armed forces for risking your lives for ours each day. 343 never forgotten.

I was at this show as well. I cried at this because it was so sad. I may have been 4 years old when 9/11 happened but I remember it a bit and will never forget. A7X foREVer

i was going to go to the concert on 9/11, but of course it had to be on a sunday, and i live 4 hours away for CT. I CAN'T BELIEVE A7X PLAYED M.I.A.!!!! that's my all time favorite song and i missed it!!

Oddly I live near Hartford my husband is Active Duty and I got out a few years after 9/11 and we didn't hear anything about his event at the local US Navy base.

Now I want to make a point since everyone's going on and on about the fact that only Johnny Christ said something, first the members of Avenged Sevenfold have friends in the military, friends that they've lost, so everyone here must understand why they may not want to talk about what happened, second, where the hell was Art of Dying or Hell or Highwater, they did not say anything, the only reason your criticizing Avenged is because they're headliners
