Freddie was top level. His life with Queen was him letting the world in on his life. And with passion and conviction, it is so good. He wore his heart on his sleeve. I do too but with all the naysayers.... I say good for you but not for me. Miss you Freddie!

Let's be honest, every song in the Barcelona Album is out of this world!!! Joining Freddie's vocals and Montserrat is beyond angelic and true mastery. These 2 outstanding souls were made to sing together and show the world that it was ok to join rock and opera. In fact, it was majestic, regal even. A true match for Freddie. And still, he fills the stage, so much emotion. I missed your Queen/Freddie reactions. Great one

Freddie was a long time fan of Montserrat and was thrilled when she suggested they do an entire album together. He wrote all the songs with Mike Moran, and every one of them is a masterpiece. Freddie’s PA Peter Freestone said the closest he’d ever seen him in tears, was when he said “The best voice in the world is singing my music”. You can choose any song from the Barcelona album and you’ll be amazed

What a surprise to all ,as Freddie's talent is endless and he can carry-on with any genre. This collaboration made history. Freddie and Mike Moran wrote the music and Freddie presented it to us. Freddie and Monserrat Caballe were a musical marriage...Thank god it happened in my life time.

I don't think Montsy ever had so much fun on the stage as she did with Freddie! They had a real love for each other, and she really was there for him till the end.

My favorite song from the Barcelona album!! The lyrics were written by Broadway mogul Tim Rice!! Freddie said he “ran out of lyrics”. 🤣 Tim Rice also wrote the lyrics for THE FALLEN PRIEST. Freddie wrote the music for the whole album!! Montserrat Caballe was Freddie’s favorite opera diva. 🌹🌹🌹

@@JeffreyHackReacts YES!! With Mike Moran on piano! There’s a demo Freddie sent to Montsy called EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE (on the album it’s called ENSUENO). Check it out it’s what convinced Montserrat that their collaboration would be a musical love affair!!

You should watch The Jukebox Interview..or Last Interview its also called. Freddie tells about meeting Monsterat..he is so giddy..I love it. He also talks about his cover of The Great Pretender. Its a great interview! Freddie said he thought he would need to tame down his theatrical mannerisms...til he seen her perform and she was showing him up...lol

Hi Jeffrey! I've already missed your Queen/Freddie reactions, but this one was great again. Freedie and Mike Moran composed a whole duet album with beautiful music and lyrics. In case of 2 songs they asked Sir Tim Rice to write the lyrics and these were the Golden Boy and the other one is the Fallen Priest. Don't miss it out! Or you can try the demo version called Rahcmaninov's revenge (later version) in which Freddie was singing Montserrat's parts. I mean, he was singing both parts. Amazing surprise!

Thanks! Such a complimentary piece for their voices in tandem. Freddie and Montsy were amazing together. He told her about his illness. He told her he didn’t think he should kiss her hand. She said nonsense. We are performers and we play our parts. He wasn’t sure his voice was nearly good enough compared to her more formally trained one. She said Freddie just sing! I love your voice.

As well as many other fabulous songs on this Barcelona album please listen to just Freddie with Exercises in free love, tones only, no words. The B side to his Great Pretender single. This was shown to Montserrat and she adored it. So much so she did words to it and performed it fir the first time in front of Freddie in the theatre.... it then became Ensueno and they both sing. The range in Freddie's voice is phenomenal.

Jeffrey... YOU. MADE. MY. DAY!! THANK YOU for reacting to this, it's my FAVORITE of Freddie/Montserrat's (aka Montsie's) Barcelona album video performances💕 REQUESTS: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Add to your Reaction To-Do List: "EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE" (Original 1987 Demo, NOT remastered version; you can hear Freddie better in the original because there's less orchestration... This is Fred singing the SOPRANO part he had written for Montsie to sing later) "ENSUENO" (The finished duet w Fred/Montsie; Fred singing Operatic Baritone this time.)
