Would love to see the 1600.1 if someone can find one. I bought one from my uncle for 50 bucks still in the box brand new. It says its true rating is 1560, but honestly i feel like it can do more. Its literally twice the size my sfb2k was which is insane

I have a Rockville krypton f1 4 channel amp hooked up to my pioneer head unit with 2 6×9 s front and Rockville component speakers in the rear doors that amp is amazing for what I paid I have to give credit whare credit is due so thumbs up Rockville I plan on buying this one for my subwoofer box tomorrow thanks for the video I learned a lot God bless

I bought a different amp directly from Rockville and I can say it was a good experience. The amp is well built and performs great but I did have a question about one of its advertised features. They have great U.S. based customer service. The people I dealt with on the phone were pleasant and answered my questions, even following up through email. They will make any situation right for the customer.

Nice to see more of these tests, thanks. With that said Rockville had some negative press in the past and I can say, I've had several orders from them and it's been a hit/miss. I would suggest this for a beginner, and maybe for a backup amp, but not in the long run. Just in my experience, of many items from them. Yes, it was four years ago or so, I will give them props for having great customer service. All my issues where handled quickly and made right, (refunds). I've seen systems with Rock@#$* equipment getting it done and winning local comps, but also hear lots of issues too. So, go into these with caution. Once again, keep these videos rolling my man, we really appreciate it.

Its a nice looking bass knob, i got a ct series ct sounds amp. Those bass knobs are plastic, and the volume knob is too small, feels annoying to mess around with it.

Very good for budget equipment ive had db series amps and killed one but it was operator error and it lasted 4 or 5 years and the other one sold to a friend and it beats the breaks out his tahoe on 4 k6 10" subs and that amp is 6 yrs old. Only problems i had with their amps is the phenom series, blew 2 of them but one was the same operator who blew the db amp soooooo🤷🏿‍♂️

I returned my Jensen 1200w amp and picked this Rockville up today. This amp gets these 12s slamming hard. Same price for more watts no Brainer. Only bad thing tho is I had my Jensen amp stable 0.5ohms

Quick question: the amp produces the advertised power but how is the sound quality? Why isn’t the sound quality tested on these amp dyno reviews? Is sound quality subjective to the listener ?

I ran an RVA-M2 for a while in a 94 Mazda B2300 and was impressed with it for what it was. Listed as 625wrms @1 if I am remembering correctly and it seemed to be hitting its numbers and then some. 3x25w fuses, solid bass knob, and didn't run particularly hot. I am usually pretty hard on my gear, I don't clip it but I usually push it at its limits. Not a bad little amp at all, the M3 looks to be identical on the outside. Most Rockville amps I have seen will hit their claimed CEA numbers. I would have no issue buying another Rockville amp if my budget required it. My RVA-M2 ran for a year and I sold off the truck and went with a JP8 in my new truck but still have they little guy in the closet. Thinking of using it on a garage setup.

Man I bought a oscilloscope because I blew up my PA Gothic 12s with this amp. Even at half gain it's clipping. I should have kept my Jensen. Is mild clipping bad? Like not a flat line, just distorted waves.

The flat “ chop off “ is clipping at the top of the wave. If it’s just fuzzy or distorted waves that’s not clipping. Could just be noise but also some of the cheap o scopes waves are not very clear to begin with. Also where the gain on the amp is doesn’t matter. It’s fine if the amp gain is only half or a little less when set properly. It just need to be set correctly.

@@HiFiVector So far so good with the M3 @0.8ohms I'm running two 12inch Gravity G3's and one 10inch Kicker CompC. Powered by two H-6 Agm battery's, a rockville 2 farad cap and under the hood is a 16f cap connected to the battery.. No more dim lights or crazy idle. I just need a 2000w amp and I'd be set. Might get the Rockville RXD-M4 amp since it pushes 2k plus @1ohm

Imo as far as the brands that the most of the public would recognize these guys are the best bang for the buck. I have a db25 bridged pushing a pair of JL W0 12s and it is just too loud man. I have the gain I kid you not at les than half. Crisp, deep and very clean sounding bass from an amp I paid something like $140 on Amazon. If that is not rediculous I don't know what is. Not to mention they always make the power they claim they do and then some. These folks are not out to rob you. My coworker has a pair of punisher 10s that hit so hard it's hard to breath in this car. I mean they really beat you up man I don't like riding in that thing. 😅

Try disconnecting the rca cables and see if it still does it. If it does there may be a problem with the amp.

im shocked. i have installed rockvill before and hated them. their amps were some of the worst id ever seen in all my years. i saw CEA birth sheets on 4 channels that were less than 20w. they must have changed how they design/build these. what id like to see is a thermal soaking. can it run 1ohm for a given period of time - thats where many cheap amps fall short.

Hey that recoil RED1200.1 you tested did way better more Efficient and more power and the all metal bass knob has a clip light. That rockville aint even class D its more AB with as much amps as its Consuming. Hey, did I also mention that it's 125.99 on Amazon? 🤔Just giving my Opinion.

@@annihilationindustries1990 got a boss amp on a sub for 6 years now, well its only pushing like 200 watts, but ive been waiting for it to die to replace it. Had a ct sounds amp pop and go up in smoke an early morning,it was its first start up that morning. But after research i found out that those ct amps had a weak board, something about them not installing it properly on the heatsink so they would vibrate to death or something.
